So what have you found to be the most challenging thus far? In terms of being an entrepreneur.

And do you also agree, being an entrepreneur, definitely means, being able see past,what’s obviously in front of you? Great.

Because in the remainder of this particular post.

You’re going to watch, what  could potentially be, an all too common story and or situation.

But rather than have it automatically end in gloom and doom.

Instead, there really is a silver lining, upon to build and potentially draw incredible strength. You”ll ultimately be the judge. Are you ready?

Why Being An Entrepreneur Definitely Involves Having Some Long Term Vision!

Case in point. Let’s say one of your areas, top, and most influential, real estate brokers. And both you and your husband of twenty one plus years.

Between the two of you. Over the last fifteen plus years. A whole lot of dedication and sacrifice. You’ve managed to build an incredibly successful, real estate brokerage business and service.

And you’re now recognized, as one of your areas top residential real estate brokerage specialist.

And your ideal customers or clients. Be they fairly affluent individuals and or affluent couples.

They typically are looking to buy, lease or rent either a home, townhouse and or condo. Somewhere in the $500,000 dollar and up range.

Every now and then, a little less. And occasionally a little more.But typically, your bread and butter prospects, fall nicely, in the middle range.

Knowing Your Primary Target Markets Main Needs And Wants Definitely Makes Servicing Them So Much Easier And Profitable!

And typically upon the sale of a $500,000 dollar, owner occupied, single family residence. You and your husbands firm, typically grosses, anywhere from 3-6% of the final sales price.

Which means, (on average), on a co-brokered transaction, with another office. Both offices will split evenly the six percent commission, on a typical $500,000 dollar sale.

So both offices, (when all is said and done),will earn half of the $30,000 dollars in total sales commissions.

Or about $15,000 dollars each. And of course, when they’re the only broker/sales rep involved in the typical $500,000 dollar transaction.

They’ll earn their entire six percent transaction fee. Which means they’ll gross the entire $30,000 dollar amount. ($500,000 x .06% in front end commission costs = $30,000 dollars.  And half of this amount = $15,000 dollars.)

This Is Why Being An Entrepreneur Means Seeing Way Past What’s Directly In Front Of You!

So imagine your complete shock, and total disbelief. When one of your closet girlfriends. Which you’ve known and been extremely close friends with.

For the last 25 years or so. She (sadly) confides to you, over lunch. She and her husband of 19 plus years.

Unfortunately, have decided to officially call it quits. And end their marriage. Say what? But here’s the thing.

Even though they’ve decided to sell their $600,000 dollar condo.And since all but one of their three kids is still at home. And finishing up their last two years of high school. Then they’re heading off to college as well.

Your girlfriend, is suddenly looking for a newer condo or townhouse to rent asap.

Whose Says You Can’t Be The Hero Even Though You’re Definitely Looking Consistently Earn A Profit!

Here’s the semi tricky part. Even though your girlfriend earns pretty good money. Now that she’s no longer living off two very good incomes.

And (let’s face it already!) She and her kid still remaining at home. They’ve definitely become  accustomed to a certain level of lifestyle, have they not? For sure.

So even though, she and her soon to be ex husband, are selling the house. And basically splitting the remaining equity in it. After deducting all the necessary expenses to do so.

One of the primary reasons their marriage finally came to an end. Is because of this failing side business venture they had started about five years ago.

So between the unpaid taxes, fees and other ongoing cost, which still have to be paid. Even after the business partnership, is finally, legally dissolved.

Unfortunately, she won’t be walking away with a whole lot of spendable cash.Sound all too frighteningly familiar?

Who Says Your Bankable Entrepreneurial Skills And Current Good Standing Among Several Local Vendors Isn’t Enough To Lend A Helping Hand To A Dear Friend In Need!

Here’s how and where, you’re taking the time and effort, to build some rock solid, power networks within your local business community.Can and definitely will, pay some major dividends.

For years and years to come. Right off the bat, you inform your BFF, (Best Friend For Life.) You’ll only charge she and her husband, two percent to sell their home. Say what?

Which means, now instead of the sale of their $600,000 dollar condo, costing them a three percent commission. Or an $18,000 dollar fee.

Instead, now it will only cost her/them just two percent, or $12,000 dollars in real estate sales commissions. ($600,000 x .02 = $12,000 dollars in sales commission fees.

But wait. You’re so not even close to being done helping your bestie out.Huh?

How Many Times Do You Think Any One Will Repeat A Story Where Someone really Helped Them Out In Their Extremely Critical Time Of Need?

Exactly. Since both you and your husband, over the years,have  helped one particular, single location, retail furniture outlet, sell a ton of furniture over the years.

You immediately reach out to them. And ask, for a huge favor. You need to purchase at least $10,000 dollars worth, of their extremely high end furniture, at their actual cost. Say what?

And you also needed it delivered to a specific address.The short of it is this. The retail furniture outlet owner(s), clearly recognize and fully appreciate the incredibly large and steady amount of income, both your and your husband.

And some of your current and former agents, have easily added to their bottle line over the years.

This Is the Type Of Outstanding Rewards Building Rock Solid Relationships Can And Definitely Will Yield Why You’ve Consistently Gone The Extra Mile Or Two!

So they readily agree, to sell you, (get this!) Not only twelve thousand dollars worth of retail furniture, at their actual cost. Which is two thousand dollars more than you originally asked for. Correct?

Which means, (when it’s all said and done), you gladly write the furniture store, a cashiers check for just under $5,700 dollars.

Which of course, you simply deducted from your $12,000 dollars in commissions, correct? Hold on! You’re still not done yet! Huh?

You also reached out to your joint venture

/cross promotional partner, whose a very successful, single location, retail appliance dealer. And you’ve also arranged, to purchase, a state of the art, 75 inch, flat screen TV. Which is on “closeout” sales status.

And where it would normally retail  for about $1,300 dollars, brand new. You get it for just $625 dollars.

Who Says the Right Type Of Ethical Bribery Is Old School And No Longer Relevant!

And have it delivered to bestie as well! Which means, you know, both she and all of her kids, closet relatives, some of her immediate neighbors, siblings and especially her co-workers and or colleagues etc.

They’ll all, hear different versions, of your totally unexpected generosity, correct? For sure. Both on and off of social media, for literally years and years to come.Right?

And to top thing off nicely. As if you haven’t done enough, for one of your dearest friends. For both she and her daughters very first “Thanksgiving” dinner in their newly furnished place.

You also gladly throw in,$100 dollars in local grocery gift certificates. So she can get a really nice turkey, and all the trimmings to go with it. For she and her daughters very first “Thanksgiving” dinner in her new place.

You know word will definitely spread fast. Correct? You so got that right. Hopefully, this all too common situation, has definitely opened your eyes, to how and why.

Being an entrepreneur definitely means, seeing way past the obvious. Don’t you agree?
