Why Companies That Use Direct Marketing Strategies Usually Do Okay!

  (And So Will You!)

So when it comes to your personal taste, in terms of pro-actively promoting and of marketing your extremely valuable products or services.

Do you fall into the camp of one of those companies that use direct marketing strategies and or tactics?

Or (for whatever reasons), do you still prefer to go the route of those outrageously expensive, dismally performing, traditional advertising campaigns.

Yea, they’re really glitzy, but when it comes to actually turning a bankable profit. Not so much.

This unfortunately being the case. Let’s focus your extremely limited resources and or assets, on how you can create some bankable marketing leverage. Sound good?

When You Closely Consider The Direct Marketing Pros And Cons! (There Usually More Pros Than Cons!)

Case in point. You wanna see how the fast food restaurant industry technology, can teach and demonstrate to you I, what a form of money making leverage, can do for you and or your major competitors.

Before the late Ray Kroc of McDonald-s fame, hit the big time. Some of you may already know, he was a struggling mistake mixer sales rep. Say what?

But here’s the potential time saving leverage, of that particular machine. Unlike the standard milk shake mixer used by most restaurants at the time.

Ray’s mixer actually had the ability to mix five or six shakes at a time.As opposed to the school mixer, which was not only bulkier, but only mixed one milk shake at time.

The potential productivity increase, not only helped restaurant owners of all shapes and sizes, become more efficient, (and therefore) more profitable.

But it also systematically lowered their labor costs as well. Because as various types of technology becomes more and more widespread, the less employees are needed.

Have You Noticed How Different Types Of Direct Marketing Strategies And Or Tactics Really Make All The Difference! (Especially Long Term!)

For example. Follow this incredibly powerful, and potentially profitable, (true life BTW) example, of how pro-active direct marketing strategies and or tactics, can ultimately lead to some potentially profitable, long term money making opportunities.

Some of you may already be familiar one of my coaches, Jeff Herring of jeffherring.com fame. (Not an affiliate link of any kind BTW.  😀 )

While Jeff is known for lots of ways to make money, both on and offline.

One of his most popular marketing strategies and tactics, is to create multi purposes, for each type of content you or I create.

Way back when Jeff was some type of therapist, who operated a private practice with some partners.

He somehow stumbled across writing, how to problem solving articles,which were primarily published in one of the local newspapers, in order to reach potential patients, to help fill up the one on one counseling side of their practice.

Combine Customized Business Building Ideas And Or Strategies And Watch What Gradually Starts To Happen!

Because Jeff was so darn good at recognizing, and helping his potential patients problems, through his lead generating weekly column.

Eventually a widely listened to local radio station, started routinely featuring Jeff as one of their wildly popular, guest experts.

And within a few short years, a major newspaper, (that being) The New York Times chief editor, offered Jeff’s column, national syndication! Say what? That’s correct?  😀

Plus offered him triple the current  pay rate, his local newspaper was paying him.

Just like with the milk shake mixer the late Ray Kroc use to promote. With this much larger national syndication opportunity.

Jeff-s problem solving articles, were now being routinely read by a national audience, which in essence, practically overnight, 10 X his exposure to potential consulting clients nationwide. 😀

Are You Starting To See And appreciate The Importance Of Strategic Marketing!

Of course, even though this new highly enthusiastic national audience, wasn’t about to get in their car, or hop on a plane, in order to physically consult with Jeff or any of his partners, in their office.

A funny, yet incredibly profitable thing happened. A certain percentage of this new expanded readership, had no problem, booking 50 minute, one on one consultations with Jeff, via the phone. 😀

Plus, an additional income stream was gradually created, when other struggling therapists, in different parts of the country,who did not have full practices.

They also started periodically reaching out to Jeff personally. For his proven how to advice, on how to strategically and systematically fill their struggling practices.

You Would Do Well To Continuously Develop And Implement Some Proven Strategic Marketing Tips And Or Tactics!

Using similar marketing strategies and or tactics, which Jeff successfully utilized.Because as Jeff’s presence and marketing prowess reputation continued to grow.

He also started targeting and speaking directly to some highly influential, industry trade organizations annual events.

And he freely shared his proven, practice filling secrets and strategies at their annual conventions and periodically wrote and published how to articles, in some of their most highly respected, and extremely well read trade publications.

These articles helped further establish his marketing expertise, and as a direct result, his entrepreneurial consulting business, ultimately and initially led him into the niche area of Internet marketing.

Hopefully in part one of this fairly watered down example, you can now much better appreciate, why companies that use direct marketing and or strategies, typically do okay. Don’t you agree?
