Chocolate chip cookies as a profit center    (For Literally Pennies On The Dollar!)

There is simply no way! Your non franchised retail bakery store or stores. Can compete. With the local, national chains, correct? However, one of the smartest, cost effective ways.

You and or your major competitors. Can profitably promote, market or advertise your business.

Is by the strategic use of. Offering either a free Xtra Large Chocolate chip cookie. Or Xtra Large cookie of their choice.

Along with an Xtra Large “Big Gulp” beverage of their choice. At your actual hard cost. On your traditional slowest day(s) of the week.

Doing so will allow you and or your major competitors to nurturing. A previously hidden and or untapped profit center! Don’t you agree?

Start Monetizing Your Traditional Slowest Days!

While it’s definitely true! The national chains have extremely large, traditional advertising/promotional budgets, agreed?

However, you and or your major competitors. Can and definitely should. At least inexpensively test the following.

Extremely low cost, non traditional marketing strategies and or tactics. For just a moment. Think about how your bakery is under performing financially. On your traditionally slowest day(s) of the year.

But your staff still has to be paid, correct? And the cost to run your business for the day still need to be met, correct?

Don’t Forget Nor Neglect The Back End Of  Your Business And Or Service!

So the minimum cost. To inexpensively test the following marketing or promotional strategies and tactics. Will be miniscule at best!

So you could start. By offering your customers. Or your best vendors, employees and their customers. An Xtra Large cookie or muffin of their choice. Along with an Xtra Large “Big Gulp” beverage of their choice.

Either free or at your actual hard cost. Or your traditional slowest day(s) of the week or season. You could inexpensively test. Having either some flyers or one or two sided index cards printed up.

Which read. “Our Slowest Day Is Now Your Gain!” And make them aware. When they come to your store(s) on certain days of week and or season etc.

They get the aforementioned above. Either at your actual hard cost and or for free!

But if you were to offer them for free. You would clearly want to leverage the promotion. By giving each customer. Their choice.

They could either get an extremely time sensitive, “Bounce Back” offer offer of some kind.

Where they get ethically bribed for either returning to your bakery. Within a certain period of days. For X% off their next purchase.

On the other hand. Simply for them joining your opt in email list.

Then they steadily receive your VIP discount coupon offers. At least once a week. For an entire year! Or for X amount of weeks! Either way,

The bottom line to it all. You and or your major competitors, can and definitely should leverage your traditionally slowest days, agreed?

Because doing so. Can be the gateway to a previously untapped profit center! Don’t you agree?
