Why On Earth Aren’t Local Retailers Monetizing This Cash Cow? Part Two

Local Retailers   (They Have The Opportunity To Create A Huge Long Term Windfall Profit!)

Picking up where part one left off. The strategies and tactics I referred to in part one. Have nothing to do with trying to monetize anywhere from 25,000 – 80,000 screaming college students.

Of course the larger the crowds! The larger the one percent of that amount will be. (Let me further explain.) Here’s how local retailers can at least inexpensively test monetizing local college students.

Because believe it or not. At least a half or one percent of the local college students who regularly attend those games. They are undiscovered entrepreneurs in the waiting.

Are you ready to discover what I mean?

Go Ahead And Take Building Brand Visibility To A Whole Another Level!

Again, this is strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. So your non franchised, retail appliance store. Initially approaches some of the smaller local junior colleges.

And what you, (and or your major competitors) propose is. Any students who would like to earn some a side income. Where they work on a commission only basis. But they get to set their own hours.

And they’re never on the time clock. What it entails is. They simply pass out as often or as little as they wish to! You and or your competitors market tested. Extremely time sensitive, 1st time customer discount coupons.

Side “A” invites the recipient of the index or two side business card. To enter your monthly or quarterly free drawing. For their their chance to win.

A Deluxe Home Entertainment System. Which typically retails for $7,500 or X number of dollars. They simply join your opt in email list. In order to be and remain eligible.

They pass them out to whomever they wish to. They’ll be given 100 cards each to initially start out. And the cards must be dated. The students must date the cards. No more than 72 or X amount of hours/days in advance.

And the recipients get’s ethically bribed. For both joining your list and dragging a friend with them to your store. Who’s at least 18. The college students initially get paid $50 or X number of dollars.

For each lead which converts into a first time paying customers. And the moment they generate their 11th paying customer and beyond. They start earning $100 dollars for each customer they generate for life!

It’s About Time To Put Your Effective Lead Generation Strategies And Tactics On Marketing Steroids!

The retailer could either create a 30-45 minute recorded video. Or have one of their managers teach an offline class to the students on campus. But here’s the point.

The students would be taught to figure out their ratios as quickly as possible. So they know. For every 100 or X number of coupons they pass out. How many paying customers do they generate for the retailer.

So let’s say for every 100 coupons they pass out. They only generate a measly 15 customers or 15%. And let’s say they’re now at the $100 dollars per customer level! 😀

So those 15 customers now equals an additional $150. Or X amount of gross dollars in their pockets. And remember the best part is. They can pass out as many or as few as they wish to! And they don’t ever have a quota to meet!

They can literally go weeks or months without passing any of them out. And they never have to worry about being pestered by the retailer!

Imagine The Potential Financial Freedom They Can Create For Themselves!

Now getting back to the one percent. So in a crowd of 80,000 college students at either a Division One college football game. Or a Junior college football or basketball game. 😀

Anyway, 80,000 x .01% = 800 students. And remember, those 800 or X number of students each know at least 25 other locals, right? (So 800 x 25 = 20,000, right)

This equals 6,000 right? (20,000 x .30% = 6,000.) And let’s say those 6,000 or X number of customers. Spend an average of $475 dollars apiece. (I’ll let you have the pleasure of doing the math! 😎

Here’s the point. The retailer might initially attract anywhere from 5,000 – 10,000 students or more! Who say they want to earn a side income. Set their own hours and be their own boss etc.

In the end. It will boil down to the one percenters. But hopefully you can still appreciate. Why savvy, non franchised local retailers. (Like you!)  Should be proactively monetizing this untapped goldmine. Don’t you agree?
