This Is How And Why You Definitely Gotta Need A Profitable Referrals Program! Part Two

Quickly picking up where part one left off.For the most part going forward. If you or your major competitors want to stop having to constantly spend a fortune. On outrageously expensive, dismally performing traditional advertising or promotional campaigns.

And instead at least start strategically A/B split test a potentially profitable referrals program. Because consistently doing so. Will not only dramatically lower your upfront out of pocket promotional costs. Right?

But the front end customers or clients you or your major competitors consistently generate. They tend to refer more new business. And do it at least 300% more often. And they also tend to be or quickly become long term goodwill ambassadors.

Who will either sing you or your major competitors praises both on and off of social media. Can you live with that? Me too…

Have You Ever Wondered How Can I Get Referrals Without Asking?

The real key is for you or your major competitors to set up your current or future marketing or promotional efforts, so they practically compel your best customers or clients to constantly brag both on and off of social media.

About your companies awesome products or services. This way you dramatically lower your upfront out of pocket costs, right? Case in point. As you recall in part one of this ongoing series.

You or one of your companies top senior marketing directors. Enthusiastically approaches one of the popular men-s barbershop owners. Where they’ve begin getting both their hair cut and beard trimmed for literally years on end.

And since they’re on a first name basis with both the owner and at least 80% of the current stylist.You allow the owner to purchase a “closeout” sale deluxe home entertainment system.

Which would normally retail for at least $2,997 dollars or X.And while the “closeout” fire sale price for the general public is an impressive $1,797. Your retail appliance center offers the barbershop owner the chance to purchase this exact same system, (for an extremely limited time of course.

For just $1,297 dollars. Say what? Provided they come to your retail store, within the next 72 or X number of hours or X number of days.

And they drag a friend whose at least 18. And they either join your special opt in email or special text message list.

You Do Realize And Fully Appreciate Just How Powerful Positive Word Of Mouth Or Mouse Endorsement Is? (Right?)

So for just a second. Imagine you’re a regular customer of the barbershop. The day after the owner of the barbershop came to your retail appliance center. And drug a semi qualified guest with them whose at least 18.

And they joined your special opt in email or special text message list. And they took their newly acquired, deluxe home entertainment system home. And spent the next X number of hours setting everything up. And now they’re actively enjoying it.

And of course they’re proudly flashing a gazillion pictures of it they’ve already taken. Plus sent a gazillion pictures to you name it.

1.) First: Their closest immediate family members. Right?

2.) Second: Their current stylist who currently work in their shop.

 3.) Third: Their best male friends.

4.) Fourth: Their closest relatives in general. Who also live in the same general area.

5.) Fifth: Their closest male and female in laws. (Done correctly this one source of initial first time customers can or become an incredibly lucrative source of new and ongoing business.)

Look at all of this positive, viral word of mouth and mouse buzz they’re eagerly providing. And you know at least a percentage of those previously mentioned above, will constantly be doing more than their fair share of second generation posting on social media. Right? For sure.

And if they have either a spouse, live in significant other or steady girlfriend etc. The spouse will also do their fair share of spreading the word too. Agreed? No doubt.

So How Do You Or Your Major Competitors Take Your Referral Generating Process To The Very Next Level Or Two?

Here’s the very first way. What do you think will consistently happen each time one of the barbershop owners new or regular customers sits in his chair? Bingo.

And remember on average. Both he and the other stylists typically service about ten clients each per day. Five days a week, fifty weeks per year. So the barbershop owners individual numbers typically looks like this. (10 clients per day x 5 days a week x 50 weeks per year = 2,500 local men per year.

And let’s say simply based off the enthusiastic endorsement of the barber. (Not including any of his current or future stylists.)

An impressive 30% of them ultimately become at least first time customers of you or your major competitors business. Which means 750 of these customers have an average spend of $450 dollars. (2,500 x .30% = 750.)

Somebody just grossed an initial gross front end profit of $337,000 dollars. Huh? )750 x $450 dollars = an additional gross front end profit of $337,000 dollars. Or X.

And unlike the vast majority of your local major competitors. The vast majority amount of this initial front end gross profit is about 80% gross profit.Or more.Because they didn’t have to constantly spend a fortune, on those outrageously expensive, dismally performing, traditional ad campaigns.

Maybe it’s time you got both serious and proactive about your current or future referrals programs. Don’t you agree?
