Real Estate Investment Guru Dave Del Dotto Definitely Understood Sales And Marketing!

   (And How To Consistently Monetizing Them Extremely Well!)

Quickly picking up where this first segment left off. At one point. If you lived in America. During the mid 80’s to the mid 90’s. You couldn’t turn on cable TV.

Between 1 o’clock and 5 am. Mon- Sat. Without seeing one of. Mega popular and successful. Creative financing. Real estate investment guru. Dave Del Dotto’s. Outrageously popular.

Thirty to sixty minute infomercials. Dave was also featured in countless major/national magazines. He also routinely appeared on nationally syndicated TV and radio shows. (Literally for years.)

And because of this constant, compounded exposure. It led Dave to both create and leverage. Several, long term sales and marketing opportunities. No real surprises there, right?

For Extremely Savvy Marketers! (The Phrase Multiple Streams Of Income Is A Reality! Not Just A Marketing Slogan!)

Before diving head long into the incredibly fascinating! And potentially profitable subject. Of long term back end marketing strategies and tactics. Whenever did did his free front end.

Typically 90 minute introductory workshops/lead magnet seminars. As Dave got more and more national exposure! The crowds steadily grew larger and larger! At his free introductory workshops.

Even after it got to the point. Dave no longer even did his own free workshops anymore. He hired sales reps. Who got paid extremely well. To do the presentations for him.

But a couple of incredibly simple. Low cost marketing/promotional strategies. Dave and his expert team could at least test. Sometimes Dave or his sales reps.

Would have hotels packed! With anywhere from 400- 700 locals! In any given city in America. Dave could have easily tested the following. Free list building strategies and tactics.(And keep in mine! This was the pre Internet. And pre opt in email era as well!)

When his free introductory seminar was just beginning. He could offer everyone attending. The opportunity to enter his free drawing. And select one 1st grand prize winner. (At each free workshop. As he steadily toured the entire country.)

But they had to stick around for his entire presentation. And near or at the end of it. Everybody who filled out a one or two sided index card. And placed it in a box. Dave’s support staff provided at the back of the room.

They reached in. And chose one name. And as long as that particular person was still there. They automatically won!

His outrageously popular home study course. “The Cash Flow System.” Which typically retailed for $297 dollars. Plus shipping.

A Simple Free Drawing! Is A Proven Every Green Marketing Strategy! For Instantly Building A List Of Red Hot Prospects!

But he could also have them fill out side “B” of the index card. Where they could ask Dave.

Any one burning question they have! And they had to include a valid phone number. Where they could be reached at. Putting their work number. Automatically disqualified them!

But Dave would inform those in attendance. Each week on his live show. He would pull one name from the box on a table. And if their name was drawn. Dave would read both. Their name and question live on the air.

But they also. Automatically received a free. One on one! Sixty minute consultation with Dave! (not his trained sale rep staff!) And since he was charging at that time. $500 dollars for an hour of his time! (Before he officially stopped doing paid hourly consultations altogether!)

That would make those 60 minutes worth $500 dollars, correct?

Strategic Lead Generation Never Goes Out Of Style! (No Matter Which Particular Form It Comes In!)

And of course each session would be recorded! And they would follow a precise format. And as soon as Dave had successfully recorded 24 hours worth of 60 minute  audio recordings.

He would create a home study guide to go with them! And detail what each 60 minute consultation covered. And the simple, (hopefully!) Low cost marketing, promoting or paid advertising, networking strategies he would suggest.

And since he currently charges $500 dollars an hour. (Or whatever his personal consulting rates were.) 24 x $500 = $12,000 dollars in perceived value, correct?

And every body who signed up for Dave’s popular. Week long, “Millionaire Maker” boot camp. Which typically retailed at least $5K per person! (Back then mind you!)

They would get all 24 cassette recordings. Plus any and all accompanying guides for free! Provided they signed up for his boot camp events. Before they left some free or paid event.

Once Or As You Steadily Peel Back The Marketing Onion! (You Realize There’s Ton’s Of Previously Untapped Marketing Opportunities! (Don’t You Agree?)

He could allow people who were on his offline database. To be able to buy any three 60 minute recordings of their chose!

And Dave would allow them to get a fourth 60 minute recording for free! (Say what?) Making it an X dollar value!

You could literally go on and on! With examples after examples! Demonstrating.

How to create multiple streams of income producing opportunities! For literally pennies on the dollar! But hopefully these first two installments.

Have demonstrated. How some extremely practical sales and marketing strategies and tactics. Can be and or ultimately become quite lucrative!  Don’t you agree?
