So What’s Your Plan To Get Around Traditional Advertising?
(Or Do You Even Have One?)
There’s no question traditional advertising is expensive, right? In fact think about the following. Most small, independently owned small business owners. Waste a ton of money. On outrageously expensive ad campaigns.
But take a closer look the multi unit apartment building image below. Can you believe? That apartment building. Or one similar in your particular area. Can help you get around traditional advertising. Are you ready to discover how?
You Can Build Your Brand Without Having Extremely Deep Pockets!
Case in point. Let’s say you’re an independently owned retail appliance center. You could waste anywhere from $25- $50K per month. Or you could offer some advantageous, first time customer only discounts. To every current and new tenant. Who signs a lease, correct? Plus ethically bribe them even further. To drag a friend with them to you and or your major competitor(s) showroom.
Who’s at least 18. And for joining your opt in email list. You and or your major competitor(s.) Will ethically reward/bribe them even further. Which will definitely help the retailer.
And or one of their major competitors. To further build their brand, correct? Strictly for hypothetical, marketing illustration purposes only. Let’s this entire 60 unit apartment building. Has a total 120 tenants in it.
60 women & 60 men. (No kids are being counted. The extremely marketing savvy retailer appliance store. Allows everybody who drags a friend with them to your store. Who’s at least 18. They get to buy one state of the art tablet. Which typically retails for at least $679 dollars.
They get to buy it at the retailers actual hard cost.
Find A Way To Constantly Over Deliver Value!
More than likely. Anywhere from 70-90% of those tenants. Who really want a state of the art tablet. (Probably already have one, right?) But still in all, who can resist that type of compelling offer?
Let’s 80% of the 120 tenants. (Or 96 locals storm the retailers store. And 80% of them drag a friend with them. (That’s an additional 76.80 people. Or 76 locals as a practical matter. They brought someone else.)
I’ll let you do the math. Hopefully here’s the really eye opening part. (What if the extremely marketing savvy retailer. Has this same or a similar arrangement. With at least four other apartment/condo/townhouse complexes. Can you say kaching?
And you’re really only talking about the initial front end here, correct? Think about the potential long term repeat customers. Are you starting to appreciate. How savvy retailers. Routinely get around traditional advertising? And still make a ton of money?
