Is nothing more than 7 + 3.But don’t forget, there’s 8 +2, 9 + 1 or 6 + 4.  All four combinations, conceptually speaking get you to ten, correct? Absolutely. And this is only utilizing addition.. Have You Ever Wondered How Direct Marketing Strategies Or Tactics Give You An Edge?

(Pretty cool, right? Please pardon my shameless promotion.) Anyway, on to the business at hand.

So What’s So Potentially Profitable When It Comes To Effectively Utilizing Some Proven Direct Marketing Strategies Or Tactics?

In order to quickly fast forward and cut to the chase. (Please be sure at some point you read my entire guest post, so you at least have, the basic foundation.)

So you’re this incredibly marketing savvy, single or multiple location, designer retailer jeweler. And rather than continually waste a fortune, using outrageously expensive, dismally performing, traditional advertising or promotional methods.

Instead, you’ve wisely decided, to at least inexpensively test, some far less traditional, promotional or marketing strategies.Here’s a quick recap of what you’re strategically A/B split testing.

You or your major competitor, approached, (both) a local hair and nail salon owner. Preferably in one of the more upscale areas of town.

And here’s what you initially offered the owners of both establishments. For an extremely limited time, they can purchase, (at your actual hard cost), provided they join and remain an active subscriber, on either your opt in email or mobile marketing list.(Power list building 101 BTW.)

They get to purchase, a beautiful pair, of diamond studded earrings. Which typically retail for at least $450 dollars a pair. Plus, as if that wasn’t impressive enough. You also allow them them to purchase, (at your actual hard cost), a stunning, diamond studded necklace.

Which would normally retail for at least $1,500 dollars. Here’s why you’re pro-actively pursuing, both of these profit seeking entrepreneurs.

There’s Literally A Ton Of Untapped Marketing Potential Just Waiting For You Or Your Major Competitors To Uncover!

Let’s say on average, six days a week, 51 out of 52 weeks a year. Because they both typically, take at least one week off a year, for some type of fun time (vacation.)

Both the owner of the hair and nail salons. Personally beautify, at least ten women per day. Six days a week. 51 weeks out of the year. Here’s the math for one of them. Simply multiply these numbers by two.

Sixty local ladies per six day work week. Times 51 weeks per year, equals a grand total of 3,060 local ladies, times two. (60 x 51 =3,060 x 2 = a grand total of 6,120 locals.

Who at least know, 25 other local women each. Translated, potential first time and long term repeat customers, for both the nail & hair salon owners. And your designer retail jewelry store. Are you with me here? (6,120 x 25 = 153,000.) That you or your major competitors, can potentially reach, for literally pennies on the dollar.

Think about the marketing or promotional possibilities.

Direct Marketing Is Probably A Whole Lot More Direct Than You Currently Realize Or Fully Appreciate!

You know as their X number of daily customers sit in their chair. And they catch up on each others life. Sooner or later, the major topic of conversation, will become. Where did the owners and their staff get their great looking bling, correct? No doubt.

And you know at least some of these local ladies, and their personal and professional inner circle members, will definitely wanna know, ‘how’ they can get hooked up too, correct? No doubt.

But for just a split marketing second. Imagine and seriously consider the following potential marketing advantage. Since you’ve already run your ideal female customers numbers.

You know, their total lifetime customer value metrics, are somewhere in the neighborhood of $3,500 – $11,000 dollars. Give or take, over the next five to seven year period.

Now of course, your ultimate goal, is to consistently sell, a ton of designer jewelry on the back end, to these salon owners customers,(and vendors) for a fraction of the traditional out of pocket cost. Correct? For sure.

Once You Start You Just Keep Steadily Building Forward Marketing Momentum!

However, you and your major competitors also know and fully realize. Anything positive you do, for both the salon owners and their hair and nail stylist.

Will not only be greatly appreciated, but will definitely generate, some positive, viral word of mouth and mouse buzz. Both on and off of social media, right?

Think about some extremely hard working women, constantly on their sensitive feet practically all day. What do you think, they would truly appreciate, in terms of a positive word of mouth and mouse generating gift. From an extremely marketing savvy jeweler, such as yourself.

If you said, some incredibly comfortable, high end work shoes. Like those nurses and extremely well paid physical therapist wear. You are correct.

So you reach out to one of the owners, of a local shoe store, which sells this extremely popular female footwear. You know, the kinds of high end shoes, which normally retail for at least $299 a pair and up.

And you receive a credit voucher of X. In exchange for trading the shoe store owner, a beautiful pair of diamond studded earrings worth X Plus a beautiful diamond studded necklace, which typically retails for X.

Of course, you’re only out of your actual hard costs. Not the perceived retail value. In any event. How often do you think, both the hair and nail salon owners, and their respective stylists, will be constantly bragging, both on and off of social media, about the incredibly comfortable, designer shoes they got, courtesy of your retail jewelry store. Bingo.
