Marketing On Social Media Definitely Works!
(Until It Doesn’t!)
If promoting online at all these days. Chances are extremely good. You’re marketing on social media, correct? (Me too!) But let’s be brutally honest here ladies & gentlemen.
At least 99.99% of us who proactively do so. You/we do not own any of those platforms. We either pay for ads on. Or we post on for free, correct? I’m pretty active on Linkedin. How about you? Do you currently have a favorite social media platform? Which you’re the most active on. How often do you post on social media?
Don’t Risk The Future Of Your Business! (Relying Solely On One Particular Strategy!)
Ladies & gentlemen you and I are working way too hard! To end up with your accounts being either temporarily. Or permanently shutdown, agreed? This is just too big a risk to take. Don’t you agree?
And not just a matter of losing your followers and or connections. But you have no other way to contact and or interact with them, correct?
(If you’re relying 100% on social media.) On the other hand ladies & gentlemen. Suppose one or all of your social media accounts get temporarily or permanently shutdown!
Where do you immediately go from there! How do you try to get the decisions repealed? And how long does or would it reasonably take to do so? And what’s your long term plan if you can’t get the decisions repealed?
If Your Account(s) Gets Shut Down! (What’s Your True Cost?)
Think about the long term Joint Venture/JV collaborations. You could potentially miss out on. I’ve been invited and appeared on several podcasts over the years. As a direct result on being proactive on social media. (Primarily Linkedin. What about you?)
But far more importantly ladies & gentlemen. What’s your immediate and long term plan? If any or all of your social media accounts. Gets temporarily or permanently shutdown?
Where will or does this leave you? Have you even seriously thought about it? (An extreme word of caution! To any and all of my millennial readers!)
If you’re still not building your very own opt in email lists. What are you waiting for? Your paid opt in email service provider. Is one of the few tools you and I have.
Which can’t be readily taken away from you/us. Hopefully you can see and appreciate that, correct? Just be aware! Marketing on social media definitely works! Until it doesn’t! What say you?
