Why It Really Is About You Finally Confronting Fear!
(Or Not! But Finally Being Brutally Honest About Not Wanting To Do So!)
It can potentially be a rather unpleasant thought, right? Because truly confronting fear means you and I can no longer run for any type of cover. So “what’s” your particular boogie man?
Mine is I’m absolutely not the least bit tech savvy. And more than a few times I was unable to be a guest on a laser targeted podcast audience.
Simply because the host couldn’t successfully guide me to log in to the particular platform they were using. It wasn’t zoom and I was completely lost. 😀 The overall net result you ask? I was unable to be their invited guest.
Of course I’m working to catch up to the modern technologically advanced world. Which will only keep evolving, right?
Entrepreneur What Continually Happens To Your Chances For Long Term Success When You And I Don’t Confront Your Fears?
Let’s start with the evergreen elephant in the room. For whatever reasons you still refuse to serve your audience by getting in front of the camera, right? 😎 Hey, you’re still totally uncomfortable.
(Believe me I get it.) I (for whatever reasons!) Still totally suck at the techie side of marketing online! (And yes I’m really trying to get with the program.)
But unlike the vast majority of you reading this. My major deficiency in that particular area. Will not prevent me from being all in on trying to be successful online!
And you also still refuse to be recorded via audio. Don’t expect your current and future major competitors to avoid these proven marketing/promotional opportunities.
Simply because you don’t or won’t. (It’s a little not so known secret. As far as America is concerned. The average American 21 and over. Rates fear of public speaking over the fear of dying. Say what?)
I’m definitely trying to embrace modern technology at every turn. (BTW entrepreneur, can your proven on and off page SEO (Search Engine Optimization) skills be outsourced asap?)
You Have To Start By Pledging To Get And Stay Out Of Your Own Way!
Ladies & gentlemen I have absolutely no attention of trying to bully you into doing this or that. You’re in charge. So you ultimately answer for the things you’re in control of. Not me. 😀
A phobia whether it’s real or totally imagined. It’s still a potential impediment to your chances for long term success, agreed? Ultimately what you and you alone are going to have to come terms with is this.
Are you more overly concerned with “how” you look or “sound” versus “how” you and you alone can consistently over deliver some sort of value for your particular tribe?
(Major hint: Your/our target market are far less concerned. If at all! With “how” you and I look or sound! Provided we’re consistently over delivering value for their benefit.)
Proactively confronting fear can and definitely will open the door to some new long term marketing/promotional opportunities.
Entrepreneur Go Ahead And Confront Your Fears!
And see how potentially over blown they are! 😎 Then get started serving and over delivering for your specific target audience. Some of your target market will only respond to you!
But only once you get out of your own way. I’m gonna leave it right here entrepreneur. Going forward it’s definitely on you! Because proactively confronting fear is your job. Is it not?
