You gotta admit it. Thus far strategically growing your business or service has turned out to be quite a challenge, correct? And you never anticipated, nor did you or your major competitors figure on the retail prices for your traditional advertising or promotional campaigns to cost so much, right?
and it’s completely understandable why at this point, you’re sorta negative towards simply writing bigger and bigger checks. On having your accounts constantly being emptied with virtually little or no bankable results to show for it.
But for now what’s your alternative? And you know there’s always the constant threat of brand new potential competitors. At least some of whom, are much better financed for the competitive long term than you. Right? So where in the world do you or your major competitors possibly go from here? It’s a great question. Are You Starting To Wonder How Long Does It Take To Grow A Business? (Or Service?)
It’s a great question. And in your case. Since you already run a fairly successful, retail beverage distribution service. And extremely great tasting gourmet coffee, cocoa, lemonade and some rather exotic ice teas are among your best sellers.
Right out of the gate. You can and should get extremely proactive with your existing customers. Especially those who are already at the higher end. Say what? They about the long term marketing possibilities for just a moment. The existing percentages are extremely high at least some them:
A.) May already own their own business or service. Right? (Let’s be brutally honest. It may only turn out about to be one to three percent of them at best.)
B.) They probably have a good job. Which means they have both current and past co-workers they are still in constant daily, weekly or monthly contact with.Right?
C.) They have extremely close relatives, friends and current and past neighbors they’re in constant contact with. Agreed?
These potential contacts are more than enough to provide some much needed forward marketing momentum for literally pennies on the dollar.
So How Long Does It Actually Take To Grow A Business Or Service When You’re Extremely Marketing Savvy?
In you or your major competitors case. Initially you specifically look for the business owners and service providers within your current customers.
And hopefully since they’re part of your current opt in email or text message subscribers.This way you can periodically send them these type of extremely time sensitive gift certificate based offers.
One of which goes something like this. Based on your records. Their most recent purchase was for X. And for an extremely limited time.
All they have to do is bring in this coupon. Which more than likely they will have saved on their phone. And they can show the your gift certificate.
And if (for whatever reasons) they decided to come alone. They save 10% off a ten pound bag of gourmet coffee. However, simply for dragging a friend (or colleague) with them whose at least 18 and not a current subscriber.
They automatically get to purchase one twenty pound bag at your actual hard cost. Plus they can also purchase another ten pound bag of gourmet coffee and save at least 50% off the current retail price. Say what?
This Is How And Where You Proactively Leverage Positive Word Of Mouth And Mouse Marketing Buzz!
You can well imagine “what” the guest who was drug along must be thinking, right? But you can bet since they came with your customer. More than likely they either:
A.) They love their fair share of extremely great tasting gourmet coffee, cocoa or ice tea or lemonade etc.
B.) If they don’t personally. More than likely they either personally know or work or have neighbors who do.Right? Odds are extremely good they do.
Which is why or your major competitors make them aware. As long as they join and remain an active subscriber on your opt in mail or text message list.
And they do so before they leave your store. Which is one of your market tested “OTO” (One Time Only) offers.
The guest automatically receives two or X number of really cool extremely time sensitive bonuses worth X.
1.) Bonus # one: The guest gets to purchase a ten lb. bag of gourmet coffee at your actual cost. (Provided they join your list before they leave your store that day.)
2.) Bonus # two: The guest receives an extremely time sensitive “bounce back” offer. Basically the way it works is this. As long as they drag a friend (or someone) back with them to you or your major competitors store.
Before the hand written expiration date on the gift certificate or discount coupon expires.They can purchase an additional ten or X pound bag at your actual cost as well. Say what?
Remember, unlike 90-95% of your major competitors. You’re no longer wasting a fortune on those outrageously expensive, dismally performing traditional advertising campaigns.
And you’re reinvesting a portion of your savings into ethically bribing both your current customers and the guests they drag with them to your store.
This is “how” and “why” strategically growing your business or service is simply a matter of consistently leveraging the right numbers. Don’t you agree?
