Sales And Promotion: How To Keep Your Best Customers Completely Satisfied And Wanting More!Part Two

So as you previously discovered in part one of this ongoing series, about “how” a local cash strapped,  Mom & Pop family style restaurant, can and definitely should be using some rather  unconventional sales and promotion tactics and strategies, in order to keep their very best  customers constantly coming back!

It doesn’t just have to be about “how” big your conventional advertising budget is, correct? In fact,  practically any size restaurant owner could find some creative ways of adapting these proven strategies   to their current marketing arsenal, don’t you agree?

Part two will focus on at least two more rather creative ways for these savvy (although temporarily  cash strapped) restaurateurs to keep systematically growing their business, without having to go into  major debt in order to do so!

And without having to spend tons of money on some of the more conventional ways of doing so as well!

So “How” Does A Temporarily Cash Strapped Mom and Pop Family Style Restaurant Owner Strategically Use Some Unconventional Sales And Promotion Strategies And Tactics To Keep Their Best Customers Totally Satisfied And Constantly Coming Back Wanting More?

First and foremost, these savvy restaurateurs do not want to have to temporarily going into massive short term debt, in order to raise money to, try and build their business through outrageously expensive conventional means and methods!

So one of the local industries they should probably approach, because it’s literally overflowing with Moms (of all income levels), that being the day care industry! Think about it for a second.

They will first and foremost, find out “if” anyone currently in their inner circle, (personally knows) and or is related to any owners of a local day care facility.

Preferably the one’s owned by local entrepreneurs, that aren’t overly corporate. And here’s “what” they’ll initially propose. As long as the day care agrees (in writing) to pass out their two sided index cards to the Moms, that are currently customers in good standing, they will give all of the owners and managers “free” annual “Platinum” plans, as discussed in part one!

Which means, they can come in any time they want and no matter “what” time it is, they can order breakfast, if that’s “what”  their in the mood for!

Remember Some Of The Best Small Business Marketing Strategies Don’t Have To Be Expensive!

And here’s the other thing they will inexpensively test. If some of their current Moms (and or any other patrons for that matter) only want to take advantage of their “Big Gulp” promotion.

They can just pay $7.95 per year (or X), and they get a really big plastic mug, the restaurant supplies and just bring it with them every time they come to the restaurant to dine and instead of paying $4.79 each time, for a “Big Gulp”, they pay just $.89 cents (or X.)

And as previously mentioned in part one, when they come in on their birthday (and or Mothers and or Valentines Day), provided they bring their “Big Gulp” mug with them!

They get one free beverage of their choice!Plus one free desert as well!Otherwise, if they didn’t bother to bring their “Big Gulp” mug with them, they just pay the usual $.89 cents!

And they will also aggressively approach the local PTA leaders. They’ll offer their members (meaning the parents that participate in their meetings), especially the Moms, first year discounted“Platinum Plans” for just $15 dollars the first year instead of the usual $25 dollars!

And then they pay $17.95 every year thereafter, like ever other member.

The point is entrepreneur, can you see “how” all this pro-active marketing activity, can and definitely will lead to some new members constantly joining (and far more importantly), renewing their memberships each year?Say yes!

so that’s just a few of the ways, a temporarily cash strapped, savvy restaurateur can strategically use sales and promotion tactics, to systematically grow their business!  Any questions?
