Real Estate Investment Guru Dave Del Dotto Definitely Understood Back End Marketing!

Just depending on your current age. And whether or not you lived in the United States. Back during the mid 80’s. To the mid 90’s. The name Dave Del Dotto. May not mean anything to you, right? But a lot of Americans remember.
Dave was one of that eras most popular! And successful creative real estate investment gurus. He literally grossed millions of dollars. Monetizing his 30-60 minute infomercials!
Which could typically been seen. Practically any night. Mon. – Sat. On early early morning. Cable TV. (Usually somewhere between 1 – 5 am.) Dave was a brilliant marketer. Who leveraged and monetized his back end marketing opportunities. Wanna know how you potentially can too?
Sometimes High Ticket Marketing Is Simply A Natural Progression!
First, let’s lay the proper foundation. So you can get a much better idea. Of how this incredibly successful. Real estate investor, educator, entrepreneur, coach, consultant, influencer and marketing expert! (His biggest critics often referred to hi as a fake guru!)
Let’s cover some the main ways he created, managed and leveraged. Several of his constant money making assets and or resources. First of all. Dave started out hosting offline. Free 90 minute introductory workshops. (AKA) free lead magnet seminars.
And as his income grew. He no longer had to rely on buying. Not exactly cheap, full and half page ads. In some of his areas most popular newspapers. In order to promote his outrageously popular workshops.
Dave got to where he started touring America. He would buy as much unsold cable TV. And radio time he could. In order to promote one his popular. 30 minute infomercials.
And at or near the end of the telecast. A message would fill the entire screen. Giving you and I the details. Of where Dave would be hosting one of his popular free workshops.
In some local hotel. The screenshot would also have a toll free 800 number. Where all interested parties could sign up to attend free! And as Dave’s popularity and national exposure literally exploded!
Because he also started being routinely invited! To appear on both local as well as nationally syndicated radio & TV shows. Countless pro & con articles were also being written about him. And several of his most successful competitors too!
And by the mid 90’s. (At or near the pea of his popularity and success!) The feds actually fined his company in excess of $200K! Claiming he used deceptive marketing practices!
The More Real Marketing Assets You Develop! (The More Potentially Lucrative Income Streams You Can Develop!)
But before Dave finally pulled all of his infomercials off late night cable TV for good. And keep in mind. When Dave and several of his contemporaries where at their respective peaks! This was the pre Internet! And pre. Or barely into the very beginning of the opt in email era too!
At his peak. Dave readily acknowledged. His averaged selling about 1,500 home study courses a week! At $297 dollars each! (I’ll let you have the pleasure of doing the math!)
And of course. He had his ongoing front end expenses too, right? He had to pay upfront. For his cable TV air time. (Even though he bought inexpensive, late night, early morning. Thirty and sixty minute slots.
Since He Consistently Had More Coming In! (They He Had Going Out! He Ultimately Did Okay, Right?)
He had national toll free number costs. And they were 24 hours, seven days a week. Some company provided those services. And Dave and others. Simply paid for unlimited, monthly access.
He had his full and part time staff. And leased or ultimately owned. A commercial office space. (I’m not sure if he ever actually owned. Any of the commercial buildings. He had office space in. And also had postal charges to ship his information products to his customers, right?
But based off the lifestyle he and his immediate family lived! There seemed to be enough. For them to keep the lights on! And put food on the table!
But when it came to leveraging the long term money making opportunities. Dave and his expert marketing team! Seem to readily embrace. His extremely lucrative back end marketing opportunities!
