Ever Notice How Really Successful Entrepreneurs Seem To Have These Same Seven Critical Traits!

 

So how many really successful entrepreneurs do you know up close and personal? Now before you begin your answer; let’s quickly define, exactly what’s meant by the (rather) broad term successful entrepreneur.

Because unfortunately, you may be under the mistaken impression that unless the person or person’s you’re thinking of, has recently taken their company public. And raised ten’s or hundreds of millions of dollars.

Or unless, they started out going business to business in a lowly obscure commercial warehouse district, where half of the buildings were in fact empty.

And now six and a half short years later, they now currently employ 73 people, 41 of whom are full time and their business now routinely grosses in excess of 14 million dollars annually, that somehow they may not be worthy of being referred to as a successful entrepreneur.

Well, if that’s what you were somehow thinking and or were mistakenly led to believe, that’s the only people that qualify (to be referred to as) a successful entrepreneur.

Think again. No, what we’re really referring to above all else, is their (and hopefully your) entrepreneurial mindset and spirit.

Because after all, long before these incredibly dynamic men & women ever made their mark and left a lasting impression on the rest of the entire world! Way back when in their extremely humble beginnings, they typically (even) then,showed (at different points) minor and major glimpses of the future brilliance that one day, would become so apparent to the rest of us.

This post is dedicated to (what appears to be) on the surface anyway, the same seven basic (yet extremely critical) success traits, that they all seem to (all or partially) possess, to one degree or another!

Introducing Seven Extremely Critical Success Traits Practically All Successful Entrepreneurs Just Seem To Have In Common!

Before diving head long into this particular list, you need to know where the main catalyst and inspiration  for this particular post came from. While reading and commenting on this excellent post by (entrepreneur extraordinaire) Patrick Sullivan, (and BTW) you can and should checkout this post he wrote about start thinking like an entrepreneur.

His well written thoughts kick started mine and as a direct result, the ideas for this post were inspired. Thus, the following list of seven extremely critical traits of successful entrepreneurs was inspired.

1.) Common critical success trait # one: Is it me? Or have you also noticed how, so many successful entrepreneurs, practically always seem to have really magnetic personalities! Now, before you go any further, let’s define magnetic personality,strictly  from an entrepreneurial perspective.

We’re not referring to a “charismatic” type of “cult of personality” thing here! By magnetic personality, it just means, because of the way they just (instinctively) know how to give and give and tirelessly pursue and present and share their vision etc.

Their personality practically galvanizes everyone they come in contact with! (Don’t you agree?)

2.) Common critical success trait # two: Next, they all almost always seem to have the uncanny ability to effectively communicate with others! In other words, they just seem to know how to effectively state their case (Have you noticed that as well?)

When in reality, what they are, is great listeners! That way they know how to best state their case and sell their vision to us, by igniting our emotional hot buttons!

3.) Common critical success trait # three: They also seems to be tireless (almost relentless) “robotic like” master net workers! They just seem to know who they need to know. You know!

And whoever they don’t know personally (yet) , they know how to strategically leverage whomever they already do know, (to the mutual benefit of all) so that they eventually make the right connection and or connections.

Successful Entrepreneurs Are Fabulous And Tireless Net Workers!

4.) Common critical success trait # four: They are extremely trustworthy! You and believe whole heartily in them, because they’ve demonstrated they’re so darn trustworthy!

5.) Common critical success trait # five: They’re incredibly persuasive. They can and do sell their vision like nobodies business! Can they not? From the time they were young kids. Remember?

They’d suggest something and you and I dove in head first!

6.) Common critical success trait # six: They are serial self starters! As kids they sold (or tried) to sell lemonade to both the parents and other neighborhood kids. Remember?  They had a paper route before everybody else! And before long, they had one of or the biggest paper route!

They got that after school part time job before anybody else you (we) knew did! They got their license and their very first used car, before anybody else!

(Remember how cool it was and how proud you (we) were, the very first time they drove over to your (our) house and off we went! Radio blasting! We were the definitely the bomb!)

They Only Get Better As Time Goes On! (Would You Not Agree?)

7.) Common critical success trait # seven: And finally.. these self starters, that we all openly or secretly admire, they’re not easily dissuaded are they? No way! Once they lock on to their hearts true passion! It’s best you and I had better get behind them or be prepared to get steam rolled!

Have you noticed that as well? Well, even though this is an incredibly short list. Still in all, these seven critical traits, just seem to go hand in hand with practically all successful entrepreneurs! Don’t you agree?
