So What Can A Visit To The Red River Gorge Park In Kentucky Teach Savvy Entrepreneurs?

 

So what’s your favorite medium to discover and learn new things? For instance, do yo prefer watching and or studying from a video, audio and or the printed word?

Or is it a combination of any two? Well, believe it or not, any and all savvy entrepreneurs -such as yourself- (can and should) learn an extremely valuable business lesson and principle, simply by visiting the breath taking Red River Gorge park located in central Kentucky! Huh? Nod your head cadets, because it’s true! (And no that’s not some sort of affiliate link and or PPA (Pay Per Action link!)

Now wait, before you start rushing to judgement (and or) mistakenly believing this recommendation (of mine) has something to do with the way they strategically market their extremely popular destination, because of it’s dazzling hiking trails, spectacular camping grounds, surreal panoramic views and or spectacular waterfalls etc!

No, this particular post is not actually about any of that at all! Granted, both the state residents and tourists alike are attracted to all the aforementioned amenities, plus the quiet solitude of 29,000 acres of spectacular cliffs, scenic views, fresh air, rock shelters, caves, swimming holes and so much more!

Okay, enough already with the over the top sales pitch!For the most part the park is chalked full of some really fun activities.For both families and or individuals to enjoy.

So I’m told, as I got all this info off one of their websites! But none of those fabulous amenities is the real reason(s) you as an extremely savvy entrepreneur, need to visit the place! Sadly, this reason is of a far more potentially deadly nature! As you are about to discover!….

 So What So Called Extremely Important Business Lesson And Principle Can Savvy Entrepreneurs Learn Simply By Visiting The Red River Gorge Park?

So right about now (you’re so ready) to cut to the chase and finally discover “what” all the fuzz is about regarding your visiting the Red River Gorge park located in central Kentucky, correct? BTW, just so you know, the incredibly powerful (and oh so crucial) business lesson and or principle (s) that you’re about to discover, could  in fact be learned by a visit to any major park. No matter where it happens to be physically located!

It’s just by specifically naming a rather obscure park (in of all places) central Kentucky, the MacGyver part of your brain, desperately started working overtime trying to figure out “what” possible angle and or connection there could be!

Didn’t it? Of course! So that was the much needed curiosity hook! Anyway, here’s the deal!

Every Year A Certain Percentage Of Tourist Unfortunately Fall To Their Death While Taking Pictures In The Park!

Sadly, every year (as sure as certain taxes & fees being raised yet again!) you can count on mostly some out of state tourist, climbing out on a precipice hundreds of feet above the valley . In spite of the safety rails with about  six feet of built in margin from the actual  edge of the cliff.

And warning signs plastered all over the place, warning of the potential danger, in order to hopefully prevent yet another zealot from venturing too close to the edge and falling to their death, in pursuit of the ultimate selfie shot!

It happens every year! The park rangers can count on a certain percentage of the far too self absorbed tourists risking it all, in pursuit of a closer shot! Of course right about now, you’re  probably “wondering” what the heck some self absorbed tourist, and their pursuit of the ultimate selfie and falling to their untimely death, has to do with your particular business,right?

Fair enough. Simply this; profit safety margins entrepreneur!Huh? You see, typically you either don’t or won’t adhere to proven pricing structures!

You operate on the wrong side of the profit railing if you will!

Not Paying Close Enough Attention To Your All Important Profit Safety Margins Can Potentially Be Deadly!

(Don’t You Agree?)

Meaning: you all too often don’t account for your extremely valuable time, when you figure up your cost estimates!

And therefore, you have little to no profit safety margin between profitability and ultimate financial disaster!  Because when those inevitable valleys ( temporary dry spots) in your revenues rear their periodic head! And you can best believe they will! You’ve got little to no safety margin between them and solvency!

And as a direct results, far too many otherwise extremely, savvy and dedicated  entrepreneurs, whined up biting the dust! And head to the ceremonial entrepreneurial dust heap in the sky!

Sound familiar? You bet! So “what’s” the lesson? Extremely savvy entrepreneurs such as yourself, had better be mindful of where (and exactly) just “how” much safety profit margin they need in order to stay in the hunt!

Otherwise, just like the self absorbed tourist, that just get’s a little too far out on the wrong side of the edge, the eventual consequences (can) and often are, fatal! Don’t you agree?
