So if you had to name your top five sources for online traffic, (free or paid) could you name them and feel relatively confident that you were accurate? If not, then it probably makes sense, that you seriously consider -periodically- reviewing some type of website traffic report.

Don’t you agree? Otherwise, you’re sort of shooting in the dark.

Three Reasons Why A Website Traffic Report Is Just What The Doctor Ordered!

First of all when it comes to consistently generating highly targeted traffic, should you be using Facebook PPC (Pay Per Click) ads, or Bing PPC or how about potentially expensive solo or banner ads etc.

It’s enough to give you one continuous -ongoing- headache, don’t you agree? It’s not only confusing, but everywhere you turn online, there’s some self appointed guru or guruette, touting one proven traffic generating method over another. What to do?

And remember cadets, no one size (proven traffic source) is right for everybody! Invest your irreplaceable time and hard earned money in the wrong source(s) and you whined up just being frustrated and non successful!

Instead, let’s answer (at least) partially, three simple questions, and hopefully this will help you narrow your potential choices.And choose the one or ones that best suit your current situation.

1.) What percentage of visitors (from your current) traffic sources, do you actually convert into either email subscribers or real first time buyers? If it’s currently less than three percent, it may not be worth the time or money you’re investing, to use that particular traffic source! (Especially if it’s a paid source!)

2.) What current traffic source that you’re using to get eyeballs to either your WordPress blog or sales page, is actually producing the most eyeballs? In other words,  how much does each visitor cost you, from that particular source? Irregardless of whether you’re converting them into an email subscriber or actually first time buyer.

3.) Do you actually have a paid or free highly targeted traffic source that you can literally use to break even with on your front end and make some real long term profits on the back end of your business?

Because if you do, it probably makes sense for you to set up some powerful -long term- profit generating joint ventures! Meaning- you’ll gladly let a non competitive small business owner make all or most of the profit on the front end of the sales process, by marketing and or cross promoting one of your products or services, so that you can net 80-100% of the long term profits, from now on, on the back end of your sales process.

And believe it or not, a free source like -good old – Google analytic s, is made to order, to help you scientifically establish where your traffic is coming from. And for that reason entrepreneur, that’s “why” you seriously need to look into periodically reviewing your website traffic report.

So can pinpoint what paid or free traffic sources are actually producing the most bang for your buck! Any questions?
