Make no mistake about it, direct mail can and will work for you, but not if you don’t learn and apply the proven fundamentals.

 Introducing Five Direct Mail Marketing Tips You Simply Can’t afford To Ignore!

 1.) Proven direct mail marketing tip # one: Entrepreneur, make sure (no matter what) that you’ve got access to your very own list (aka) database.

That way, whenever you need to, you can contact your best customers or clients (aka) your twenty per-centers!

2.)  Proven direct mail marketing tip # two: Set up a periodic mailing schedule (even if) it means, sending inexpensive postcards at least once a month, to your twenty per-centers!

You know, the twenty percent that actually generate 80% of your gross front or back end  revenue!

3.)  Proven direct mail marketing tip # three: Contact them (meaning your twenty per- centers) to remind them of any upcoming pre scheduled routine service appointments.

Contact them to announce your upcoming “Customer appreciation day events. Or just to send personal birthday cards to them or their spouses!

Contact them to congratulate them on a wedding anniversary or remind them it’s  been one year since they first became a customer or client!

4.)  Proven direct mail marketing tip # four: Contact them (via) opt in email, or mobile phone to alert only VIP customers or clients only, to any & all of your specials of the day, week or month etc!

Be Strategic By Utilizing Certain Types Of Target Marketing Techniques!

Of course any walk in can take advantage of one these special promotions, but give your mobile and email  subscribers a deal that’s so much better, that your non subscribers will be compelled to join your list!

5.)  Proven direct mail marketing tip # five: Make sure that you re-prioritize your overall customer interaction strategy.

So that you don’t waste (at least) 80% or more of your precious resources, trying to generate that all important first time customer or client!

Leverage Your Existing Customer Base And Or Relevant Contacts Or Existing Resources First!

You want to first try and sell/market additional products and services to your existing customers and clients! Before you waste a ton of money, trying to convert complete strangers.

Then go after your ex-customers and clients, then finally go after trying to generate brand new first time customers and clients!

Don’t Use The Resource Draining Spray And Pray Method!(Instead Laser Focus Your Efforts Resources And Assets!)

Let your formula be, that you allocate 50% of your resources to your existing customers and clients.

Next you’ll need to test in order to discover if the remaining 50%, should (either be) 30% allocated to trying to re-activate ex-customers and clients.

And the remaining 20%, devoted to new customer or client generation or vice versa. Inexpensive testing will reveal which order produces the best return!

Bonus tip: If you happen to mail any type of catalog to your entire list once per year. Inexpensively test sending it once every quarter (every 90 days) , but only to your twenty per-centers!

Whose Says Ethical Bribery Is Old School?

Just throw in some really cool free bonuses, that your top joint venture partners, should be more than glad to supply to, for a shot at landing some customer or clients, for pennies on the dollar!

Bonus tip # two: and don’t forget, that on average, for every month that goes by that your current customer or clients don’t hare from you.

Keep in mind your major competitors are sending their newsletter every month! So they’ve contacted your customers or clients, three times for every one time they hear from you! Which means, you probably wanna re-consider your options!
