Building brand awareness

Why Building Brand Awareness Is Definitely Not A Spectators Sport!

When it comes to systematically building brand awareness. What’s your current game plan? Are you more of the corporate type of advertiser or promoter?

Meaning you try and use outrageously expensive, traditional advertising or promotional methods to make your target audience aware of your products or services.

Thank goodness strategic sweat equity is definitely not about if you have a fancy degree of any kind. Or if you have extremely deep pockets. You serve and over deliver on content driven content for your target audience. And watch the doors of opportunity open up. Are you okay with that?

If You’re Gonna Keep Busy Why Not Stay Occupied With Some Potentially Profitable Income Producing Activities?

Do you own a self hosted WordPress blog? Or are you a podcaster? How active are you? How often do you publish value driven content to your blog?

Or are you more comfortable creating laser targeted video content? Have you noticed no matter what type of content you currently specialize in? You have to be or remain proactive.

If you want to remain relevant to your audience. Of course it definitely helps your/our cause if you have other assets or resources to leverage.

Take a look at these three sample landing pages. Which I created using my paid email service provider of choice. Awebers landing/sales page creation software.

Are You Starting To Appreciate Why Being A Successful Entrepreneur Is Definitely Not A Spectators Sport?

Take a look at the feature image with this particular blog post.  If you’re a blogger or content creator of any type. That blank chair in front of their computer look at all too familiar?

Far too many aspiring online marketers stare at either their blank desk top or laptop computer screen. And for any number of reasons, (aka) totally lame excuses.

They (or you!) never quite get around to consistently publishing some value driven content for your target audience. Who truth told. Really aren’t asking for all that much entrepreneur.

Just show them “how” much you care and demonstrate your proven expertise. By being consistent. Don’t initially come out of the box on fire. And suddenly cool off to the point you haven’t posted any fresh content in weeks or months.

As some of you already know. My podcast, “The Marketing Minute.” Currently available on Spotify.com. To date I’ve published 115 specific “how to” like episodes.

Then all of a sudden went dark! 😀 And not because suddenly there’s a shortage of extremely value driven content to be shared with my tribe. 😀

You Can’t Just Be Intellectual About Being A Successful Entrepreneur!

Truth told, from start to finish. It typically takes me about 30-45 minutes of prep. Plus the actual length of a specific podcast episode. I add both my pre-recorded intro and outro to each episode.

Add my title of the particular episode. And schedule it. Since I’m still using free software, (audacity.org) to record it. There isn’t a whole lot of hard cost associated with publishing each episode. (Clearly there’s a time and effort commitment needed.)

And I invest a rather small amount each month for my paid podcasting host fee. Which syndicates my episodes all over the web.

But actual effort, (aka) elbow grease has to be utilized. Especially in your initial stages. Otherwise nothing meaningful happens. Nothing you and I can actually bank on anyway.

Entrepreneur you and I can read, watch and listen from now on. But until you/we actually get into the real world. And start strategically A/B split testing this and that. And systematically tweaking as you go.

Losing and making money. Or breaking even etc. None of what you read, watch or listen to really matters. Because building brand awareness to any bankable degree that counts. Is definitely not a spectators sport. Hopefully you agree!
