When you held your last major sales event. Were or are you happy with the final results? In other words. Would you or do you plan on repeating this sales event again any time soon? If not. Perhaps it’s time to inexpensively test and gradually implement some creative ways to increase retail sales.

After all you or your major competitors don’t have to initially jump in with both feet. Instead you gradually inexpensively test different marketing or promotional approaches.

And let your target audience guide you to exactly which offer(s) appeal to them most. This way you can stop wasting a fortune on ineffective marketing or promotions. And strategically use your savings to scale your business or service.

And help promote either some of your top JV (Joint Venture) partners. Or some of your top local vendors or suppliers. Because these extended business relationships are typically a literal goldmine of previously untapped marketing opportunities.

Basically they will use a combination of offering their ex or currently inactive customers, you or your major competitors extremely time sensitive gift certificates. Plus savings of 15-30% off the carpet cleaners services. In order to reactivate them.

And here’s the other surprise gift you or your major competitors will gladly provide to the carpet cleaners best current and future customers who are gourmet coffee lovers.

Since one of your top local JV partners is a gourmet coffee shop owner. You can purchase 50 or X number of twenty pound bags of extremely great tasting gourmet coffee.

And in exchange for the carpet cleaning customers who provide at least two or X number of referrals. The carpet cleaner will provide their customers with an extremely time sensitive gift certificate. Which they can redeem at the gourmet coffee shop.

Plus the extremely marketing savvy gourmet coffee shop. Will gladly provide the gift certificate holder and their semi qualified guest, with free Xtra large, plastic “Big Gulp” cups.

This way each time they bring the cup back with them. Instead of paying the usual retail rate of $5.79 per cup. Now they only pay $.99 cents per cup.

This way they have constant reasons for bragging both on and off of social media. Don’t you agree? And their viral positive word of mouth and mouse campaigns never stop.

Unlike a dismally performing ad or promotional campaign. Which if it’s not profitable on the front or back end. Sooner or later you’ll have to discontinue it. Correct?

Sure you or your major competitors can steadily waste a fortune on outrageously expensive, dismally performing ads. If you’re pockets are deep enough. But if they’re not. Maybe it’s time you or your major competitors at least inexpensively tested some creative ways to increase retail sales.

You definitely don’t have to waste a fortune trying to scale your business or service. The choice is ultimately yours.
