Keep in mind. Almost any of your current or future major competitors can write checks. Right? Doing so doesn’t automatically mean their outrageously expensive, traditional ad or promotional campaigns are successful.

In fact more than likely their not exactly cheap advertising or promotional campaigns are consistently accomplishing little more than systematically draining their bank accounts.

Let’s hope so. Strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. Let’s say you own a fairly successful women-s cosmetics distributorship. And your ideal female customer currently has a total lifetime customer value metric of somewhere between $175 – $5,700 dollars. Give or take over the next five to seven year period.

Even though you have a healthy gross -initial- front end profit margin. Sadly the vast majority of your current and future major competitors. They typically only see what seems to be financially available to them via the front end of their on or off line sales funnel.

But experienced and seasoned marketers/promoters such as yourself. You definitely realize just how much previously untapped, profit producing back end income generated potential, typically gets left on the table.  Right?

Say for example. You or one of your top sales managers reaches out to at least three to five local upscale, non franchised hotel/motel chains. Because you’d like to offer the owner(s) a proven way to help them constantly generate some potentially profitable word of mouth and mouse buzz.

Typically these really nice “Presidential Suites” which retail for anywhere from $200- $900 dollars per night. And obviously the more expensive they are. The more likely it is, the individuals who rent them.

They probably (A.) can afford to rent them. Right? And (B.) they more than likely know, work  or routinely socialize with, employ or work for local men & women can also afford to do the same. Bingo.

This being the case. You or your major competitors women’s cosmetic distributorships. You successfully negotiate a potentially mutually beneficial JV (Joint Venture) or cross promotional arrangement.

Where each month the first 20 or X number of women who (for whatever reasons) rent a Presidential Suite. (No matter what is cost to do so for the day/night. Unbeknownst to them.

You Consistently Do This And You Don’t Have To Wonder How To Increase Retail Sales!

You or your major competitors will pre arrange to do the following three things for these extremely lucky ladies. (Who will then going forward, enthusiastically help spread the word both on and off of social media. About the hotel/motel and your women’s cosmetics distributorship as well.

1.) Unannounced surprise bonus # one: First they will automatically receive a 40 or X% credit off their actual cost? Say what? In reality the hotel/motel simply bills you or your major competitors for 40 or X% off the cost of each particular suite.

And there’s a short engaging note stuffed inside the ladies “Gift Bag.” More on this proven marketing/promotional strategy coming up very shortly in part, okay? Thanks for the marketing latitude.

And get this. As they’re initially checking in. Each lady who rents a “PS” suite and pays at least $500 dollars or more per day/night for it. They’re automatically given an extremely time sensitive gift certificate to your local offline store.

They come alone and for an extremely limited time they can save 10% off the cost of any of your lower end 32 oz. bottles of perfumes you currently have in stock.  And these lower end 32 oz. bottles typically retail for at least $189 dollars each. However, simply for dragging a friend with them whose at least 18.Before the handwritten expiration date expires.

Plus an an additional word of mouth and mouse generating incentive. Simply for dragging a semi qualified friend with them. For an extremely limited amount of time.

they automatically get to upgrade and purchase one 64 oz. bottle of one of your best mid level fragrances you currently have in stock. And instead of paying anywhere from $575 – $650 dollars per bottle. Like the general public does. Instead they can purchase at your actual hard cost. Plus any and all applicable taxes and fees etc.

Can you say explosive positive word of mouth and mouse tsunami? (I sincerely hope so.)

And for an extremely limited time. I they come alone to redeem their certificate. They only save 10% off the current retail price at the time of redemption. However, simply for dragging a friend with them whose at least 18. Before the handwritten expiration date expires.

Both ladies automatically get their deluxe facial treatments for free? Huh? And since the typical retail cost is $47 dollars. For the two of them combined this is now a $94 dollar value on paper. But easily worth several thousands dollars long term. When you or your major competitors factor in all the future word of mouth and mouse buzz.

This one unannounced surprise gift alone is definitely gonna create some long term buzz  Don’t you agree? Absolutely.
