How And Why Being An Entrepreneur Definitely Means Seeing Past the Obvious!Part Two
So hopefully after you initially read part one of this ongoing series, you can now much better and fully appreciate, how being an entrepreneur, definitely means, being able to see, way past the obvious. Don’t you agree?
Absolutely. That being said and established.The remainder of this particular post.Will hopefully, demonstrate to you even further.
How your ability to see just past the surface of any given situation.
Can potentially lead you, (and or your major competitors),to not only a whole new way of thinking about, both you’re marketing and or promotional opportunities.
But how you can and definitely should, sprinkle some goodwill into the mix, every now again as well. Don’t you agree?
It’s Definitely Obvious Being An Entrepreneur Constantly Provides More Than It’s Fair Share Of Previously Untapped Opportunities Correct?
Case in point. In part one, you recall how, an extremely marketing savvy,local female broker, with a proven track record, of twelve years worth of success on her resume.
Upon hearing the incredibly sad news.One of her dearest friends, after 19 years of marriage.These two had decided to divorce.And desperately wanting to help her friend out.
She not only helped the divorcing couple, by only charging them 2% to sell their $600,000 dollar home.
Who Says You Can’t Or Shouldn’t Take A Seemingly Negative Situation And Pro-actively Spin It Into A Positive One!
But once she received her $12,000 dollars in gross, front end commissions. ($600,000 x .02% = $12,000 dollars.)
And to take things even further. As you recall. She immediately turned around, and contacted, one of her main, joint venture (JV)/cross promotional partners.
Who owns, a very successful, single location,retail furniture store.And she also immediately arranged, to help furnish her friends new place, with $12,000 (or X amount) of dollars, in really nice furniture.
Which she obviously got at cost, or just X% above, from her furniture store JV/cross promotional partner.
Only because, over the last 12 plus years.The broker & her husband, and their other current and former agents. Are responsible, for putting tens of thousands, of additional dollars in the furniture retailers bank account.Right?
From their constant referrals.
There’s A Ton More Untapped Marketing Leverage In Your Current Already Established Relationships!
Thank goodness, this entire, all too common, totally unpleasant situation, got this extremely marketing savvy brokers, creative marketing juices flowing.
Basically, what she and her husband decided to do, was to systematically reach out, to a couple of their really successful JV partners, who are either, very successful divorce and or bankruptcy specialist lawyers.
Plus, a couple of their really successful, CPA friends. And here’s what they initially proposed to do. Basically the brokers, are more than willing, to help any couples, and or individuals, who desperately need to sell their homes and or investment properties asap!
This Is How And Where Offering A Temporary Helping Hand Can Be Potentially Valuable Long Term!
In order to not only help any of these potential first time customers out. The brokers are more than willing, to only charge these semi to fully distressed individuals, just 2 (or X%) in front end sales commissions.
As opposed to their customary 6% of the final sales price. Say what? Plus, they will also, gladly refer these individuals, to their retail furniture store, JV/cross promotional partner(s.)
Knowing full well, at least a percentage of these, temporarily, cash and resourced strapped individuals, will definitely help spread the word like crazy.
about both them real estate business, but the retail furniture concern as well.
