How To Get Your Part Time Consulting Business Started!

    (Even Though You Don’t Think You’re Qualified To Do So!)

So how many people do you currently know, who are (literally) sitting on a wealth of specialized information, yet for some odd reason(s), they are not fully capitalizing off of it?

Sound all too familiar? Can you start a real consulting business? Full or part time? Absolutely. Even if you do so on a part time basis.

After all, (you’re currently) doing something to pay your bills, correct? In fact, what if (it turns out), you already possess this highly specialized knowledge, and you currently work in this field full time. Say what?

But instead of just showing up for your 9-5.You look for some proven ways, to help out, small business owners and service providers, and or solo-preneurs, who would like nothing better, than to step into the technologically driven 21st century.

Sadly, they just don’t have a real clue just yet, on how to effectively do so, using the advanced technology, your particular employer specializes in.

So let me my (briefly) share with you, my primary motivation for publishing this particular blog post.

Recently while on the phone, getting some expert advice, from my paid email service provider of choice, Aweber-s outstanding customer service care rep.

And during the conversation, (I asked) if she had ever seriously considered, starting her own consulting business, (part time), sort of on the side if you will.

Basically working right within her (immediate) local community. Because (believe it) or not, there are still, at least 50% of the local small business owners, and or service providers, who still don’t have a state of the art WordPress site and or, self hosted blog of any kind.Say what?

Of course, I wasn’t suggesting she (nor) any of her extremely qualified customer service care reps, start a part time consulting business, building websites. 😎

Instead, since she had just walked me through, (step by pain staking step), how to properly resize the opt in box on my blogs home (index) page. And she even suggested an excellent free tool, on this website, which generates (some sort of code), (don’t ask! 😎 .

But it somehow protects your sign up forms code from being over ridden by WordPress.Say what? Free iframe code generator.)

Anyway, she also sent me the following link, so I could read up on the various, creative ways the “Atom App” could be used by resourced challenged small business owners or service providers, to start instantly building their very own opt in email list.(Within five minutes of downloading and properly configuring the app.)

Even when they’re out and about, just socializing or whatever. In fact this “App” allows the account owner to start building their opt in list, without using (or by passing) my other low cost list building strategy.

Technology Advancement Helps You Take Your Resourced Challenged Business Or Service To The Very Next Level Or Two!

Case in point; as you recall from previous posts. I have been strongly advocating, how any resourced challenged small business owner, service provider, and or start up entrepreneur etc; can and definitely should, use Awebers sign up form editor.

And create a sign up form, (aka) lead capture page, (similar) to the sample one displayed below. And let Aweber (and or) the paid email service provider of your choice, simply host the form for you.

(And just to be crystal clear, Aweber offers private web hosting of their sign up forms only! Meaning they do not offer third party web hosting as a general rule, like you and I would typically need, if you were self hosting,  your own WordPress website and or blog.)

And simply purchase a separate, (but hopefully) relevant domain name, and then re-direct the domain name, so when it’s typed into the browser, Aweber-s self hosted lead capture page (sign up) form appears.

Using Aweber-s app, you don’t need to purchase a separate domain name. You just download the “App” and configure it correctly, and you (and or) your major competitors, are ready to start instantly building your list.(And you either use the app or you create your own self hosted sign up form, but not both.)
