Three Ways Robert Allen Made A Fortune Marketing To His Niche!

Entrepreneur did you know super information marketing guru Robert G.Allen claims (altogether), since the release of his very first mega best selling, block buster book, “Nothing Down” was originally released, way back in 1980.

Between his many national subsequent best sellers, his highly successful (offline) 3- 5 day seminars/workshops and later on,his far more expensive one on one personalized five day boot camps!

With the publishing of his highly successful paid newsletter subscriptions, paid hotlines, his $295-$495 home study courses.

And let’s not forget his highly successful 30 minute infomercials, which of course led to his free 90 minute introductory workshops/paid three to five day events etc!

And his more advanced $5,000 – $10,000 dollar, one on one personalized Coaching/Mentoring millionaire maker events!

And later on, his incredibly popular, $3,000 dollar week long info-preneur millionaire maker events! And so much more!

The guy claims to have grossed an incredible $200 million dollars give or take! 😎 And even if he’s really only done a quarter of that much, that would still work out be a mere $50 million dollars in gross profit!In the same amount of time! 😎

No matter how you slice it, old Bob’s done okay!Would you not agree?

The main point being cadets, because he both (A.)Initially identified an extremely viable niche and (B.) Strategically developed various products and services, that catered t them exclusively!

And that’s exactly “what” you and I should be doing too!

So How Did Super Information Selling Marketing Guru Robert Allen Make Several Different Fortunes Catering To His Specific Niche?

(And How Can We Do It Too!)

First of all entrepreneur, think about this very first, (all too often) overlooked, potential profit center, in Robert’s overall marketing funnel.

As you discovered in a previous article, about how mega best selling author, Robert Allen originally made his fortune by catering to a specific niche, in the “how to” invest in real estate, using (so called) creative financing real estate investment methods.

And he penned his original book, “Nothing Down”, (which BTW), to date is still the number one all time best selling book in that particular category/niche!A mere 35 years later! (You go cat!)

Anyway, while it’s incredibly easy, and a whole lot simpler to merely lump his entire $200 million dollar gross windfall profits over the course of the last 30 plus years, into one giant glob of- virtually non stop- incredibly successful info-marketing activities!

When you actually take the time to dissect and segment some of what he did then and is still currently doing now!

It becomes a whole easier to totally appreciate, the many ways he created multiple streams of income, over the last 30 plus years! Let’s quickly have a look at just three of his many profit centers!

(And hopefully by doing so, your very own creative marketing juices will be sparked and or jump started!)

Introducing Three Incredibly Profitable Reasons Why Robert Allen’s Long Term Niche Marketing Strategies Were And Are So Incredibly Profitable!

1.) Profit strategy # one: Ladies & gentlemen, please bare in mind, initially Robert Allen and most of his contemporaries, they all started successfully marketing offline first!

And much later in Bob’s case, did he learn how to successfully market online! That said, think back to when Bob and all of his contemporaries (major competitors), were all successfully marketing their products and services offline.

Bob’s extremely savvy marketing team would (initially) either run strategically well placed half and full page ads in specific major city newspapers, all across the country, advertising/marketing his incredibly popular free 90 minute introductory workshops.

Which of course, their main purpose was to (either) get you to purchase his $295 dollar home study course.Or to get you to attend one of his incredibly popular three or five day live events, that typically went for (back then), anywhere from $495- $795 dollars per attendee!

But here’s “what” a staggering 95% of extremely savvy marketers miss and never even think about!

Typically Bob’s free introductory workshop events, would consistently have (standing room only) crowds attending! And about 500 -700 of the faithful would regularly attend!

(And we’re talking each event, while Bob simultaneously ran 50 to 100 of these events  all at once, throughout various parts of the country, because of his highly trained sales forces, teaching/mass marketing these events to the general public!)

However,(obviously) not every body would buy (either) his home study courses and or attend his live workshop events etc!

Bob (always) offered his (highly) popular “free drawing”, where at least two people, won either his $295 dollar home study course or one of them got to attend free, (either) one of his live three or five day events, which at that time cost somewhere between $495 -$795 per attendee!

(Now watch what he routinely did next! 😎 )

Robert Allen’s Sales Funnel Is A Text Book Example Of A Successful Niche Marketing Strategy!

2.)  Profit strategy # two: That one proven (mega list building) marketing strategy (mentioned above), initially led to old Bob to create a massive 150,000 plus offline database!(Because back when he initially got started there was no Internet yet! 😎 )

And Bob routinely collected passive income of 5-  25 cents per month, per name on that one list! And he also routinely mailed that list and offered them a chance to purchase his $295 dollar home study course, for just $127 dollars!

Making that offer a savings of 43%! You do the math: Let’s say a mere 5% of his 150,000 strong offline database, took him up on one of those types of (time sensitive) offers!

That would mean a mere 7,500 spent $127 dollars, plus shipping and applicable taxes and fees etc! (7,500 x $127 = $952,500 big ones!) Minus the necessary printing and postage fees etc.

(Note: Obviously these particular numbers are strictly hypothetical, in order to demonstrate the overall marketing concept.Which is, Bob (or extremely savvy marketer X) could routinely send his offline database and offer, an extremely time sensitive discount offer and routinely expect to receive anywhere from 5-40% response!

Just depending on the final discounted price, bonuses, plus any  particular guarantees etc!

3.)  Profit strategy # three: And finally, with almost instant national notoriety, of being a multi mega best selling author and much sought after keynote speaker, whose keynote speaking and general appearance fees practically tripled overnight! 😎 

Bob now had the chance to literally “cherry pick” which of the other successful speakers at these events, he would routinely joint venture with! And here’s what he often did!

He would joint venture with another extremely popular speaker, whose subject/product was relevant to his, bout not in direct competition!

So he might offer some other (extremely) popular speakers real estate pre and or “Foreclosure” home study course, that originally sold for anywhere from $495 -$695 dollars!

And now Bob’s list of 150,000 strong was being offered the exact same course, for an extremely generous price of just $295 dollars ( or X!)

And Bob would typically help himself to 50% of whatever the final price was!

So it should be starting to become obvious, how he was able to amass such an incredibly huge fortune, strategically marketing to his particular niche, correct? Any questions?

  1. Robert Allen is a master there’s no question. I read his book Multiple Streams of Income years ago and have to say it was far better that books of that type usually are. He get’s right to the point and as you’ve illustrated practices what he preaches.

      At least that partially explains where you get some of your natural marketing creativity from!LOL!

      M, I gotta tell ya, the very first book I ever read by that guy, was his classic “Creating Wealth.”

      And I’ve been hooked and a big fan ever since!LOL! And this guy just seems to have (both) a gift and a knack
      of pulling back the proverbial curtain and cutting right to the chase of whatever his subject matter is!

      And I like you, I totally agree, he illustrates and explains in depth far more than a lot of his
      contemporaries do.

      In fact, his really expensive hands on, live week long “how to” make money in real estate investing
      seminars/boot camps, they really were in the forefront of what a lot of his much
      younger contemporaries do today!LOL!

      In fact, thanks to you, I think I’ll write a post detailing some of that guys utterly brilliant
