So entrepreneur are you a pizza eater? Do you by chance have a favorite type of pizza? It’s really okay to admit it.Do you have anything against people (including) close friends, relatives and or respected colleagues, that just so happen to enjoy some tasty (although) relatively cheap pizza every now and again?
Why the third degree about whether or not you eat and or enjoy pizza, cheap or otherwise? No particular reason. But let me ask you this.
Have you ever stopped to consider some of the incredibly powerful insights and (believe it) or not, thoughtful MBA type of real world business lessons that you can and should discover, the very next time you’re munching on some rather tasty pizza? Say what?
Irregardless of how much it cost! It’s true! So stop and consider the following seven real world business insights, the very next time you and or somebody you know and respect is munching on a pizza, but especially a rather tasty cheap pizza….
So What So Called Powerful MBA Type Of Business Lessons Are You Suppose To Gain Simply From Eating Cheap Pizza?
Okay, so if you and or someone you know happens to love sports of any kind (like yours truly!) And you happen to be over a friend and or relatives house watching a Pay Per View (PPV) boxing match. And or ultimate fighting match and the pizza slices are being gobbled up even faster than the Government can figure out new ways of raising taxes!
Yea, that fast! Anyway, have you ever noticed that when all the dust settles; meaning after the final beer is finally chugged and the final bet is paid off and there’s no more cheap pizza left to be devoured.
Have you noticed an all too commonality in these type of situations? And what pray tell would that be you ask? Well, before I actually disclose this eye opening insight. Take a closer look at the image that accompanies this post.
Does that sight look all too familiar? Meaning; after your typical pizza eating binge? Of course as you’re looking (more like) staring at the image now, the all to simplicity of the message and overall theme has sadly gone right past you! (Hint:) It’s the crust!
That all too often left over crust entrepreneur! Huh?
Yea It’s Pretty Easy To Bask In The Glow O Success! (But Not So Easy When Entrepreneurial Challenges And Temporary Setbacks Show Up!)
Nobody likes and or eats the crust do they? And you know what, it’s the exact say way (analogy wise people!) in business! See, the following seven mildly to extremely unpleasant occurrences are in essence the crust (if you will!) of being in business for yourself. And or the crust of entrepreneurship!
1.) Unpleasant occurrence # one : Having to deal with the fact that a major customer and or client is leaving you and or your firm for a major competitor! And nothing you said or proposed is going to change their mind! Well that totally sucks doesn’t it?
2.) Unpleasant occurrence # two: You’ve got to issue a refund and your sincerest apologies for a blunder that was clearly your companies fault and now your cash flow is temporarily seriously affected because of it!
The Crust Is Simply A Part Of The Overall Pizza Eating Experience Is It Not?
3.) Unpleasant occurrence # three: Not only has your banker said no to your request for an additional 30 -60 day extension of your current credit line terms.But now sadly she’s informing you that your current credit line terms are being renegotiated and your loan is now due in full in the next 60 days instead of the previously agreed upon 90 day deadline! Say what?
4.) Unpleasant occurrence # four: Your top sales rep and or your main business partner suddenly wants out and they expect you to cash them out preferably within the next 90 days or less, as per your written agreement!
5.) Unpleasant occurrence # five: You’ve just received another unsubscribe email from your paid email service provider! And you’re unsubscribe rate percentage is starting to creep up to the point that you’re starting to get a little concerned!
6.) Unpleasant occurrence # six: A friend sends you a text to alert you that someone is saying some awfully nasty and distasteful things about your company online! And this same person was doing the exact same thing about six months ago!
Here we go again!
Your Entrepreneurial Journey From Start To Finish Will Always Include Some Distasteful Crust!
7.) Unpleasant occurrence # seven: Your site just got hacked again even after you took all necessary precautions the WordPress tech guru/geek told you to! Those my friend are just a few of the unpleasant, yet all too common occurrences with regards to being in business for yourself! Agreed?
And just like the leftover portions of the pizza, (aka) the crust! It’s that not so pleasant part of enjoying a rather tasty cheap pizza that nobody likes to talk about and or acknowledge.
But it’s most certainly a part of the overall pizza eating experience! Don’t you agree?
