Why Consistently Getting The Word out Simply Means Constant Power Networking!

You’ve probably already heard a staggering 50% of the mom & pop small business owners and service providers in America. For whatever reason(s) still don’t have any type of website or stand alone blog, correct?

And while most of them don’t bother with any type of social media marketing on any kind. At least some of them are active on Facebook. Clearly this effort beats nothing. But when it comes to strategically getting the word out.

 

The vast majority of them are content with their hit and miss word of mouth efforts. And they may also occasionally do a little traditional paid advertising here and there.

But for the most part they really don’t have any type of formalized strategy for systematically getting the word out. Instead they just sort of take things as they come.

Which explains why they’re not consistently scaling their business or service. These simple tweaks can potentially make a ton of difference.

Entrepreneur Isn’t It Past Time You Stop Leaving Money On The Table?

Since it’s no secret, (on the local scene anyway), your single location, non franchised gourmet coffee shop has some of the best gourmet coffee and other great tasting exotic beverages, right? And typically for every ten 1st consumers who sample your gourmet coffee.

Usually at least seven of of them (or 70%) will convert into long term repeat customers who start routinely buying and bragging about practically all of your great tasting beverages.

Which currently includes your extremely great tasting cocoas, ice teas and exotic lemonades etc. And while plenty of your long term repeat customers are constantly spreading the word both on and off of social media.

You really need to start organizing your various word of mouth and mouse campaigns. Basically your major competitors are content to sell their local customers a retail cup of extremely great tasting whatever for $5.79 per cup.

Or five to twenty pound bags here are there. You on the other hand are now ready to start systematically leveraging your beverages exposure. Which explains “why” you’ve started serving free cups of coffee during the winter and ice tea and lemonade during the summer months.

But doing so at various local association meetings. Say what? You make arrangements to serve the local members of the tenants, dentists or this chapter or that chapter of various local organizations.

Entrepreneur Why Serve One To one! (When You Can Strategically Multiply Yourself One To Many!)

You could also approach local charities with the following proposal. Provided the charities allows you serve the charities donors your extremely great tasting beverages. Via your plastic “Big Gulp” cups.

And if the members or administrators of the charity were to buy these exact same “Big Gulp” beverages at you or your major competitors shop. They would expect to pay anywhere from $4.79- $5.79 per cup. Using this incredibly simple marketing/promotional strategy.

You serve these individuals these plastic “Big Gulp” mugs which you or one of your top JV (Joint Venture) or cross promotional partners gladly pays for.

and each time they bring the mug to your shop. Now they only pay $1.99 per cup or X. instead of the usual retail price per cup of $5.79 or X. In exchange for the charity or local associations allowing you or your major competitors to promote like this.

You’ll allow the charity to fund raise by selling 5-20 pound bags  of coffee or cases of your great tasting lemonade or ice tea to both their current and future members. Plus keep everything over your actual hard cost. Say what?

And you or your major competitors will also gladly provide the administrators with free ten pound bags each month. And they can also send them as thank you gifts to both their top donors and their best vendors.

Think About The Long Term Impact Charities And Local Associations Will Make Simply By Gifting You Or Your Major Competitors Extremely Great Tasting Gourmet Coffees!

Think about this. You or your major competitors create a fully functional, stand alone landing page. Using Aweber’s built in landing page editor. (Truth told it’s not as robust as say OptimizePress.

But it will more than serve it’s primary purpose. Which is to allow you or your major competitors to strategically build your opt in email list. And both the charities or associations can pass your landing page address to their top donors or top JV or top cross promotional partners.

They join your list in order to get home delivery. and rest assured, (every year!) a certain percentage of them will order 5-20 pound bags or cases of this or that to sent to whomever.

All of this mega exposure and constant sales will definitely add up. Don’t you agree?  This is ‘how” you or your major competitors go about strategically getting the word out for literally pennies on the dollar. Any questions?
