Case in point; most business owners would simply be over joyed to purchase a former local competitors remaining inventory (literally) for fifty to sixty cents on the dollar! Correct? Absolutely, and just like the carton of the chicken that comes across an apple.
They split the apple, find and eat the worm and merely toss the nutritious apples halves to the side! 😎 Thinking they’ve clearly had the better of this particular situation!
Not so fast.Let’s see what else this extremely savvy -local- retail furniture concern can do, to strategically leverage their former competitors extremely loyal customer base.
So How Come So Many Otherwise Extremely Savvy Entrepreneurs Often Miss These Type Of Proven Long Term Money Making Opportunities?
Entrepreneur, now that we’ve established the fact in part three, that the former local competitor, had accumulated 3,500 extremely loyal paying customers,over the seven years they were in business.
And as you recall, it was also pointed out “how” some of them may have spouses, live in significant others,kids, in laws, Mom & Dads, sister and brothers etc. Which means, they could definitely pass the word on to each and every one of those individuals and their particular inner circles,correct?
But above all else, don’t forget, each one of those individuals (most definitely) has a birthday, if nothing else! So the main point was to inexpensively test creating some type of VIP birthday club opt in email list of some kind!
To take advantage of it. But now, let’s get even more laser focused, shall we?You know ladies & gentlemen, there is a very good chance,at least one or two percent of those 3,500 extremely loyal customer base, may in fact own their own business!Bingo!

So let’s go with one percent of 3,500 (in order to keep the math really simple.) One percent of 3,500 is thirty five. (3,500 x .01 % = 35)
Which means, (on average) about one out of every one hundred of their former competitors customers, probably owns their own business. The actual number may not even be that high!
So what the savvy retail furniture concern is looking for specifically, is anyone with times to (either) a local developer, that specializes in single family homes, of all price ranges. And or few local influential bloggers, whose target market is the local home buying crowd!
And they will reach out to the blogger (and offer) him or her brand new furniture! Including a master bedroom set and or living room set to boot!
In fact, they (in essence) want this local blogger, who of course has a state of the art (mobile responsive) WordPress blog, to periodically post reviews of their latest furniture collections!

Any time the retailers alert them, that they’re going to hold a closed to the general public, slightly repossessed furniture blowout weekend extravaganza sales event! And let’s say both professionals have both local followers on Facebook, twitter and Instagram!
And they both have at least 1,500 opt in email subscribers each! And they tweet, post on Facebook and Instagram about this upcoming, exclusive private sales event!And of course email their VIP email subscribers too!
See Why It’s Far More Valuable To Tap Into That Former Competitors Extremely Loyal Customer Base?
And of course, each will be there to meet and greet and take pictures with their respective followings!
And they can also regularly showcase (both) pictures and videos inside their house, of their latest really cool stuff! And do an on site video, where they welcome the furniture stores delivery people delivering their brand new X!
And if things really catch on a big way! The furniture retailer will start making these exclusive private slightly repossessed sales events, annual things for both affiliates audiences! You think the faithful want look forward to getting their books personally autographed by these local celebs!
And of course get a chance to! Let’s save that for part six! until then, can truly savvy entrepreneurs, really afford to constantly overlook these type of proven, long term marketing opportunities? Probably not!
