(Just One Which Works Pretty Good!)

So if or when someone asks you about your brand strategy building process. What will or how will you answer them. Are you extremely busy constantly throwing your extremely hard earned money against the wall?

Hoping somehow things will probably just work themselves out. I sincerely hope not. On the other hand. Are you the type who prefers trying to initially build and somehow maintain some sort of multi brand strategy building process?

Thinking the more you do in terms of outrageously expensive corporate brand building. The better off you’ll be. When in reality the exact opposite is usually what’s true.

You’ve Heard The Old Saying Never Wait For An Opportunity Create An Opportunity! (Right?)

Sadly the vast majority, (we’re easily talking!) a staggering 95% or more of your major competitors. When it comes to advertising, marketing or promoting their business or service. They’re reactive not proactive.

Meaning they sort of have this and wait or watch and see what happens attitude. Instead of a make it happen attitude. Which is why they or even you sometimes tend to be content merely running potentially expensive PPC (Pay Per Click) type of ad campaigns.

And if you’re wondering. Yes if you have the skills and tools to create and systematically tweak your paid ad campaigns. To the point they become profitable.

By all means go right ahead. But if you’re like most profit seeking entrepreneurs trying your hand at paid advertising campaigns. You first have to go to the school of hard knocks. Say what? And graduating isn’t a slam dunk. Nod your head cadets. Because it’s true. So let’s take a closer look at a hypothetical marketing situation or two.

And remember as always. This is strictly for marketing illustration purposes only. Okay?

You have them go to these shops previously unannounced and bring a coffee pot just in case. And also a twenty or X pound of one of your most popular gourmet coffees.

Plus they will also bring at least 50-100 Xtra large plastic “Big Gulp” cups which has your gourmet coffee shops local address on it. And the words “thank you for being an extremely valuable customer!” Written on it.

And each customer of the hair or nail salon who drinks a cup of your extremely great tasting gourmet coffee. They just take the “Big Gulp’ plastic cup from your employee and key staff member and help themselves.

Your staff member makes them and both the hair or nail salon owner(s) and their staff aware. Going forward.
