What type of traditional advertising or promotional campaigns do you prefer? Or “what” type of outrageously expensive ad or promotional campaigns are you currently having the most bankable success with?
Do or are your current advertising/promotional budgets at least breaking even on the initial front end? If not. How or what are your immediate plans to start making them profitable? If you definitely wanna save your money and other potentially valuable resources.
This is a prime situation and extremely good reason(s) why you or your major competitors need to start systematically implementing proven bootstrap marketing strategies or tactics. Because consistently doing so helps scale your long term, front and back end gross profits.
And lower your initial upfront out of pocket costs as well. This proven combinations of proactive business activity. Can and will lead either you or your major competitors to a potentially profitable goldmine of previously untapped marketing opportunities and or possibilities.
Is this a situation you can positively deal with or not?
You’re Probably Wondering What Objectives Should A Bootstrap Marketing Plan Accomplish?
Great question. In you or your major competitors particular case. You’ll strategically A/B split test different variables of some form of bootstrap marketing strategies or tactics. To gradually leverage (scale) your current future and long term results. Without having to constantly write outrageously big checks which typically produce bank account draining dismal results. (Over and over mind you.)
So let’s say your single location, exotic beverage distributorship is definitely looking for some far less expensive, non traditional strategies or tactics. As it relate to some form of lead generation.
In fact to this particular point in you entrepreneurial journey. You’re definitely starting to appreciate ‘why” you or your major competitors definitely need to at least seriously consider some potentially viable marketing/promotional alternatives. Primarily because your typical cost per lead (CPL) rates are constantly heading north (up!) Correct?
No doubt about it. So as you both “discover” and start to consistently implement some of these market tested alternatives. The strategic A/B split testing strategies will help you determine what to discontinue.
because it clearly isn’t clearly isn’t working. While simultaneously helping you determine through your real life metrics ‘what” to if not double down on. What to at least keep implementing on some level to some degree.
Say strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. Since your extremely great tasting gourmet coffee(s) and your great tasting ice teas are extremely popular.
Building Your Brand Without Deep Corporate Pockets Is A Whole Lot More Likely When You Start Strategically Implementing Some Proven Bootstrap Marketing Strategies Or Tactics!
case in point. What you’re really after is not the outrageously expensive, one and done type of first time customer.
Who both you and your major competitors typically pay for fortune to initially pinpoint. Then after a major fortune is spent. Get a miniscule percentage of those exposed to you traditional advertising campaigns to spend the bare bones minimum with you. No way.
Instead you want to strategically pinpoint (inexpensively target) your ideal customers. And systematically get as many of them as possible. To sample (in this particular case) some of great your tasting coffee.
Because you already know going in anywhere from 40-80% (or more!) will eagerly become repeat long term customers. And some by extension of your very best goodwill brand ambassadors. Both on and off of social media. Correct? Absolutely.
Because two things both you and your major competitors know about gourmet coffee loves. A.) They definitely love to drink it as often as possible. Correct? Especially when they can consistently do so at a nice discount. B.) They also love sharing (more like bragging!0 to their friends and other acquaintances about doing so. Agreed?
Think About Some Of Local Places Your Ideal Prospects And Customers Constantly Hangout!
Say for example. A few local bingo parlors. Say what? You know if at least 30 60% of them local men & women don’t love great tasting gourmet coffee. Or some of your other extremely great tasting beverages. They either personally know, work with, work for or live next to someone who does. Agreed?
So you or your major competitors form an incredibly simple JV (Joint Venture) arrangement with a few popular, local bingo parlors. And you agree to gladly provide them with a free twenty or X pound bag of gourmet coffee per month.
Plus. (Get this!) You or your major competitors will also gladly provide the bingo parlor sponsors, with some plastic Xtra large big gulp cups. and the first time any bingo parlor players buys an Xtra large coffee or ice tea during the brutally hot summer months. They pay the typical retail price of $4.79 per cup. Say what?
This helps the parlor to offset certain ongoing costs they clearly will incur. But going forward. Each time they bring the plastic cup with them. Now they only pay $.99 cents per cup. Huh?
And during the rest of the week. Whenever they want you or your major competitors great tasting gourmet coffee. (Which your shop is conveniently located only five blocks away from the bingo parlor.) They or whoever has the big gulp plastic cup.
When they come into your store they only pay the same $.99 cents per cup. For some extremely great tasting beverage of their choice. You know they’ll be eagerly spreading the word. Don’t you agree?
This is “how” and “why” you or your major competitors may want to seriously consider implementing. Or at least inexpensively A/B split testing some type of bootstrap marketing strategies or tactics. Don’t you agree?
