Why Extremely Savvy Entrepreneurs Would Rather Be Short On Cash But Long Marketing Skills!

Okay, if you really had to choose, would you rather have 75 published blog post and or “how to” videos, currently sitting, (more like) languishing on your youtube channel, and or mobile responsive WordPress blog?

Just hoping, that somehow the major search engines will eventually find and rank them!

Or would you rather be temporarily stuck with 75  bottles of the latest, greatest,(world changing) vitamin supplement of some kind, currently sitting in your garage,(or taking up) extremely valuable shelf space in your offline Mom & Pop store!

And truth told, you can’t give them away, as free bonuses to your closest friends and or family members! 😎

Me too! The real point being, while there are certainly plenty of things, (initially) your typical cash strapped, building it up from the bottom, type of entrepreneur doesn’t have!

They’d much prefer to be severely short on readily available upfront cash, but extremely long on bankable marketing skills! Don’t you agree?

This post is going to take a really close look, at “how” a semi cash strapped entrepreneur, can turn their temporary inability to compete head to head, with the big boys & girls in their niche, into an incredibly powerful marketing advantage!

So Why Would Some Extremely Savvy Entrepreneurs Rather Be Short Of Up Front Cash But Extremely Long On Bankable Marketing Skills?

Entrepreneur, for this particular example, let’s take one of my all time favorite industries to use, for this hypothetical marketing example. And that being a high gross profit margin (local),designer retail jeweler store.

And for this particular example, let’s say currently, since they’re the new kids on the block and they only have a single location.

And as fate would have it, they’re not currently located inside one of the cities most popular malls.

Nor are they currently located in one of the best, (high traffic), prime retail locations!

Which, (unfortunately ) also means, they’re not yet financially able to compete head to head, (conventional advertising dollar wise) with the other three major competitors in their market.

Now that’s not to suggest they can’t be extremely effective, with regards to putting together and executing a formidable marketing plan.

It just means, (for the time being) they won’t be able to continuously blast their glitzy Madison Avenue type of advertising campaigns, (like their major competitors do)all over the traditional advertising mediums!

Savvy Entrepreneurs Know Really Good Marketing Can Often Be The Great Equalizer!

So they readily acknowledge, since (at best) their current (traditional) advertising/marketing budget of $30,000 dollars a month (or X), give or take, is simply no match for their other three major competitors, that easily invest at least $50,000 dollars per month, (say from) January until September.

Then once the major holiday season fully kicks in, (and things really get crazy), they’ll easily ramp up to (at least) $75,000 dollars per month!

So they realize it wouldn’t (at all) be wise to try and match them dollar for dollar! Instead, they’re constantly looking for some less utilized creative marketing ideas and or strategies, to get and keep a foot hold in the market place.

Constantly Be On The Lookout For Some Untapped Marketing Opportunities!

For ex: (one day) while heading to the bank to make some payroll deposits, one of the stores top managers, notices a brand new apartment building complex being built, just off the major highway, about five miles away from their store.

And after a little research and a few phone calls to some well connected friends, they discovered who the main developer contractor is. And their creative marketing wheels start spinning extremely fast! 😎 Here’s why.

Extremely Savvy Entrepreneurs Specialize In Converting Conventional Temporary Obstacles Into Long Term Advantages!

So here’s “what” this extremely savvy jeweler, wants to initially test out. They’ll contact the main contractor/developer and ask if they can provide catered breakfasts and lunches, at least one a week and or once every other week!

For the 200 plus workers on the site, until the completion of the project!Huh?

Follow the madness bouncing ball here cadets! 😎 Their initially for a (semi low cost), proven way of getting the vast majority of the 200 plus, full and part time construction job workers, and the 2030 administrative office workers undivided attention!

It Never Hurts To Perform The Necessary Market Research!

So they set an appointment, (for early next week) to meet the developer in his/her office, along with several of his or her key administrative office staff!

However, before they actually show up, they’ll find out ahead of time, (who) the head secretary is, (meaning) finding out what her full name is.

And they’ll also find out who the current CFO, COO and head bookkeeper and or head accountant(s) are!

(And whether or not the developer is currently happily married, single and or has a current live in significant other! 😎

(And they’ll do so, by suggesting it’s for developing an extremely accurate, future marketing profile!) But they also promise, that just for the developers (much appreciated) participation!

Whose Says Strategic Ethical Bribery Doesn’t Work Anymore!

They’ll make it more than worth his or her, and some key staff members while!Here’s how. Once they arrive early, and after all of the typical small talk pleasantries have been exchanged.

They will (first) present the developer with an absolutely beautiful, $4,000 dollar men’s or woman’s Rolex watch!Say whatAnd then they’ll quickly move to the main secretary!

She’ll be given an absolutely beautiful, $2,500 dollar diamond studded necklace ,(that’s sure to) cause some serious positive word of mouth & mouse office buzz!  😀  Don’t you agree?

Along with an (extremely time sensitive) business size card that entitles her to the other diamond studded earring, that normally sells for $400 dollars each!(Or $800 dollars a pair!) And she’ll get the first one right then and there!

What Makes You So Convinced Proven Marketing Strategies Won’t Work For You!

And as long as she brings a potential new first time customer to your store, whose 18 or over, before the hand written date on the card expires, she’ll get the other beautiful earring free!

Otherwise, if she comes in alone, (highly unlikely!),after the expiration date, you will still sell her the other earring, at just 20% above your actual cost!

(Trust, she’ll definitely find a friend over 18 to drag to your store and somehow magically beat the deadline! 😎 )

When You’re Working With An Extremely Limited Budget It’s Best You Put Your Marketing Efforts Into Overdrive! (Don’t You Agree?)

Now here’s the deal with the developer.You make it crystal clear, as long as he provides you with a personal introduction, with at least five other successful vendors by you actually show up on the site, to cater breakfast & lunch, in the next ten days.

The Rolex is your free gift to him/her! 😎 Otherwise, they can present you with a certified cashiers check for X, plus the applicable taxes & fees etc!Plus, just to be sure you’ll really sweeten the pot!

You also hand them one of your latest, (really slick looking) four color brochures, and you circle a really nice watch eye catching women’s (worth at least) $1,000 dollars and a really cool diamond studded woman’s  necklace!

Power Networking 101 Is Always An Evergreen Marketing Strategy And Or Tactic!

And ask him to please hand your brochure to their wife/girlfriend and or significant other, and as long as they meet (both) your deadline and personal referral requirements, before you cater your very first lunch on their current work site.

She’ll get both at your actual cost! 😎  Otherwise, you’ll only charge him 20% above your actual cost!

First of all, you can bet, before your key is in the ignition, as you’re leaving his office, he’s already (at least) texted or called his wife/girlfriend and or significant other and told her about his recently acquired bling and mentioned your conditions to her as well!

Entrepreneurs See Las Vegas In The Making When Practically Every Body Else Only Sees Cactus In The Dessert!

Which means entrepreneur, she will personally see to it, that he readily meets all of your pre-conditions! 😎 Right?

So that night during and after dinner and before they actually retire for the night, she will be sure he totally understands everything that’s at stake here! 😀

After all, by now she’s already texted and called her closest girlfriends, co-workers and or others in her immediate social and personal circles!And she’s practically wearing that eye catching bling, is she not? 😎

So he definitely knows what he’s gotta do!In part two we’ll really dive deep and cover the rest of the meat & potatoes of this particular marketing strategy.

    I am on a fixed budget as to how much money I can spend each month on advertising. I’m in a program called iPro and I have to use solo ads starting in 2016. It sells products that teach people how to make money online. I must also have a blog to use to teach others what methods I use.

    If your marketing efforts work good for you then I would say use and follow them. We are all in different niches and we must follow them. Both of us are in the same niche, internet marketing. We follow and use every method that can help us and others. We keep on moving forward in our marketing efforts.
