Why Building Passive Income Almost Always Starts Out As Extremely Pro-active!

So the last time, you either used, some type of paid and or, (so called) free marketing and or promotional methods of any kind.

Can you honestly say, it’s really helping you generate any additional, (so called) back end income of any kind? If not, why not?

Or let’s ask this rather provocative question another way.

Is whatever you’re doing right now, (and or), what you’re about to start doing. Is it moving you closer to building passive income streams of any kind?

And if it’s not, why continue to go there?

Let’s See If You Can Discover Why Building Passive Income Streams Almost Always Start Out As Extremely Pro-active Activities!

Case in point. Let’s suppose, you’re the execute director of marketing, for a national, exotic beverage distributor of some kind.

And your current advertising and or monthly promotional budget, can easily range, somewhere in the low hundreds of thousands of dollars range.

Which means, between all, the outrageously expensive, dismally performing, traditional advertising and promotional campaigns you consistently run.

The vast majority of it, is simply wasted dollars. Sad but true.

Because the fact of the matter is, your national radio, TV and or (half or full page), display ads, in various specialty magazines, largely go unnoticed, by a vast majority(98%) or more, of the general public. Ouch!

There Are Still Tons Of Untapped Boot Strap Marketing Opportunities Everywhere!

So you start aggressively looking around, for some potentially profitable, non conventional ways of getting the word out, both on and off of social media.

And without having to constantly invest a fortune, in order to do so.Initially, you approach some upscale local art galleries.

Because you know their target audiences, are definitely, (not only) into drinking, some exotic beverages, like coffee, cocoa, tea and or lemonade etc.

But far more importantly, they can afford to pay for it, plus they know, work and or routinely socialize with locals, who can definitely do the same. Correct?  😀  For sure.

So here’s how they invest some of their monthly, advertising and or promotional budget, in order to help these local galleries, help them get their word out.

First of all, they’ll take one of the galleries most successful artist, and one of their most popular paintings.

And offer it in a free drawing. But only the galleries VIP opt in email/mobile marketing subscribers, are eligible to enter!  😀

A High Growth Business Strategy Can Start With Some Basic Marketing Strategies And Or Tactics!

Here’s the marketing rub. Because the galleries chosen, are rather upscale. The customers who buy paintings and portraits there, are middle to upper income individuals.

And when the gallery sponsors a free drawing, for one of it’s most popular artist-s paintings. And only opt in email/mobile marketing subscribers are eligible to enter.

And here’s the other stipulation. Only those subscribers present in the gallery, of the day of actual drawing, are eligible to win the painting and or portrait.  😀

Plus, every subscriber, who brings a guest with them, (whose) at least 18, their name automatically goes into a second drawing, where the 1st grand prize winner, gets a discount savings certificate, which allows them to save 30 (or X%) off their next three or X number of purchases from the gallery!

Building Passive Income Follows Some Really Pro-active Marketing Activities!

Here’s the real purpose of your beverage distributorship, requiring, only those subscribers in the gallery, the day of the drawing, being eligible to win.

Every customer, first time guest and long term repeat customer, in the gallery that particular day. Waiting to see who actually won the drawing. 😀

They will all be served, various exotic beverage samples, supplied by your company.Plus, they will be able to buy a 10 lb. sample, at your actual cost.

And as part of an extra special marketing twist. Just to make sure, you create a ton of social media buzz.

Building Customer Loyalty Makes Generating Passive Income A Whole Lot More Likely!

Every subscriber in the gallery, can also participate in a raffle. For just a one time payment of $25 dollars. Or X.

The 1st grand prize raffle winner, automatically wins, a 12 month credit to have 10 lbs. of any exotic beverage of their choice, delivered directly to their home, and or place of business.

And for the next year, if they want, once a month, they can sample ten 10 lbs. of whatever particular beverages your company offers.  😀

So you know they’ll definitely take some of it to work and or their place of business, correct?

Non subscribers, get to participate as well. But they have to invest $100 dollars!  😀 But here’s the long term thinking.

Those customers who initially purchased your great tasting beverages at your actual hard cost. They will also be purchasing even more, for friends, co-workers, their employees, best customers,in laws and or kids etc.

So hopefully you’re starting to appreciate, the lifetime customer value metrics here. 😀 And more importantly, why building passive income, usually starts out with a ton of pro-active elbow grease.  Don’t you agree?
