Who Says Marketing Costs For Small Business Owners Have To Be Outrageously Expensive?

Okay just because you’re in business or you have an incredibly valuable service to provide your ideal customer. Who says the marketing costs for small business owners or service providers has to be outrageously expensive?

Sure if your pockets are deep enough and you’ve got the patience for it. You can simply write checks and try and somehow stand out in a literal sea of other traditional advertisers. (This all too common approach is definitely not recommended BTW.)

Other the other hand provided you at least have a semi realistic idea what your ideal customers total customer lifetime value metrics are.

You may quickly discover a far more effective and economical use for the money and resources you’re currently allocating to outrageously expensive, traditional advertising or promotional methods. Have a closer look and see for yourself.

These Proven Marketing And Promotional Strategies Definitely Help Lower Marketing Costs For Startups Too!

For those of you reading this who are currently located outside of the United States. Within the states is a major nationwide pizza delivery chain. And just like their national major competitors.

They literally spend tens of millions of dollars annually to advertise and promote their business. Even though each individual chain is currently owned by a licensed franchisor.

But currently they have a major ad campaign running in which they feature one of their franchisees promoting “how” they originally started out working in one of the chains part time.

And before the age of 30 actually owned and operated two different franchises. You can only imagine the type of extremely hard work and laser focused this type of undertaking requires, correct?

And the ad campaign doesn’t indicate if they still own the two franchises. Or have perhaps acquired even more. And the ad campaign also reveals a staggering 95% of all of their current franchisees started out as either a driver or regular worker.

Now obviously this particular International chain definitely has constant direct access to the brightest marketing/promotional talent currently available.

So this is no way is an attempt at slighting or belittling those ongoing efforts.

Entrepreneur You Definitely Don’t Always Have To Spend A Fortune On The Initial front End In Order To Effectively Get Your Point Across!

So here’s the $64,000 dollar question. Since the International chain readily admits in this major national ad campaign. A staggering 95% of the individuals who end up owning at least one franchise to begin with.

Why not simply send a series of opt in email messages to every one of their current X number of nationwide franchise owners. Asking them to please have any and all current and future employees.

Be they currently full or part time. Direct them to a special webpage on their main website. And fill out a semi extensive preliminary form of some kind. To see “if” they currently qualify or can qualify to purchase their own franchise within the next 12 or X number or months or less.

Because special financing terms will be available to them if they can. And there will also be direct access to ‘what” the chain is referring to as “Employee Buyer Qualifying” specialists. (A term just made up on the spot by yours truly.)

basically this type of guidance counselors will be available M-Sat. from 8 am – 8pm EST. (And they’ll also have calendars so each interested potential applicant can set an appointment and speak directly to these agents.

Often Your Front End Advertising Or promotional Costs Can And Definitely Should Be Funneled Back To Your Customers Or Strategic Alliances Partners In Some Way!

Because according to their own stats revealed in the national ad campaign. At best maybe 5% of those exposed to it over and over BTW. To the tune of tens of millions of dollars a year.

Instead save the vast majority of this hit & miss spending to the masses at large. And instead offer those savings initially to the most financially qualified of their current and future employees who may wish to become owners.

And they can also provide some much needed other support resources as well. And still not spend anywhere near the type of money they currently are. In order to reach a mass market. Who statically on average about one out of ten may have any interest at all.

And convert to promoting to an audience where on average 9 out of then exposed to it has a much higher interest. Because at least they already work full or part time for the chain.

Their marketing focus is far more pinpoint and they dramatically lower their front end costs as well. Plus they’re helping their current and future workers(who desire to!) to become owners.

Hopefully you to can see and appreciate “why” the initial front end advertising or promotional or marketing costs for small business owners or service providers doesn’t automatically have to be outrageously expensive. Don’t you?
