Three Time Consuming Things Successful Time Management May Not Involve!
So who isn’t pressed for time these days? But you’ve gotta ask yourself (depending) on what your specific goals for this current year are. Are you really pressed for time, or would successful time management implementation better serve your cause?
Case in point; let’s say your goal for since the beginning of 2013 was to earn (gross) at least 250,000 dollars. Which is roughly $4,807 per week. seeing how they are basically fifty two work weeks in a year.
And of course all serious (dedicated) entrepreneurs that working a minimum of forty hours a week, is simply a fantasy! Because you basically never stop working on or in your business, correct?
Successful Time Management Is More About Priorities Than Anything Else!
Entrepreneur, break these gross figures down further with (me) and let’s see “what” if anything, they actually reveal. First, if you need to gross (average) roughly 4,807 per week, in order to reach your goal of $250 K per year.
Simply substitute your own figures, if that one is too high or too low! Here’s the point: let’s say that you average at least forty hours per week. $4,807 divided by forty equals (roughly) $120 dollars per hour.
So here’s the thing. At that rate per hour, does the following (all too common) daily activities really make a whole lot of economic sense? An average of two hours per day reading Facebook posts and another hour reading emails! Because $120 per x three hours equals $360 dollars entrepreneur!
So here’s the $64 K dollar question? Is whatever you’re doing on those social media platforms (everyday) earning you at least $360 dollars or more? Or X, depending on whatever you’re particular numbers are!
You May Not Actually Need More Time Entrepreneur!
(Just Better Allocation Of Your Current Time!)
So here’s the crux of it entrepreneur! You may actually need to dramatically scale back on your leisure activities, like your two hours worth of daily (non income producing) social media activities! And the third and final -major- suggestion, regarding successful time management is; stop spending enormous amounts of (irreplaceable time!) merely stock piling useful “how to” information!
And start spending/investing 80-95% more of your extremely valuable (non replaceable time), moving forward with really productive activities; like blogging daily (or as often as) humanly possible! And creating 2-7 minute instructional “how to” videos! And guest blogging and tweeting useful content on twitter etc.
These are the type of proactive daily activities that will truly move your business forward! The other aforementioned daily activities, make it imperative, that you employ (asap) successful time management skills a must! Don’t you agree?
