This store owner, who apparently has been in business and primarily in the same location for years, seems to have completely forgot or flat out abandoned proven small business signs marketing strategies!
Because he had all over the walls of his store, rather large pictures of former Super star athletes (both) men and women mind you, but they were at least 20-25 years old! Say what?
The main point being, his current main athletic shoe buying customer base, was much younger and probably barely had any idea who 90% or more of these former hot shots were!
And more importantly, they could care less too boot! Think of a local radio stations that’s suppose to be targeting today’s highly proactive pre and teenage crowd, yet their daily format consist of records by artists that were popular 25 years ago! Stick a fork in it, because they are so done! Right?
Now that’s not the only type of small business signs marketing strategies, you’re going to be exposed to here, but it simply had to be mentioned!
