So have you tried to run your business without actually earning a bankable (taxable) profit of some kind? That particular strategy is a sure path to failure correct? On the other hand, (my friend) should you simply try and run or start a business (and or) service of any kind, based solely on whether or not you can purchase so many units (and or) widgets if you prefer at X. And resell them at Y.
And merely scale the business based on the fact that the numbers work. Well, hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there is definitely a little more to running any kind of successful business than that. In fact, if you are able to start and or buy into a successful business of some kind, but it’s not based around a comparable niche market, that plays to your current strengths as an entrepreneur.
Then (sadly) you probably won’t make it! It’s just the way it is. If on the other hand, when you can honestly answer the following three (extremely) critical questions, and the business model itself directly plays to your current and future entrepreneurial skill set. You’re definitely on the right track.
Three Surefire Signs That You’ve Probably Selected An Extremely Profitable Niche!
Of course you should always strive to find and or buy into an existing business that is profitable. First and foremost, but even if it profitable right out of the gate, you’d better at least have some type of serious passion for what you’redoing or you simply won’t have the (long term) staying power you’ll definitely need to make a go of it.
Which brings us to the three surefire signs, that if you can honestly answer the following three questions favorably. Then you’ve probably found what you should be doing, in terms of running a business.
(Bare in mind:the following three questions are a bare bones minimum start.)
1.) Surefire sign # one: Here’s your first critically important question, (a surefire sign) if you will. Entrepreneur, does the current endeavor that you’re seriously thinking about undertaking, does the possibility of that thought, motivate you to wanna get up extra early every morning and stay late every night?
(Of course if you’ve got personal and or family considerations that have to be taken into account, you’ll definitely need to figure those matters into your equation.)
2.) Surefire sign # two: Does the long term profit potential of this particular endeavor match your current level of passion for it? And does your current skill set lend itself favorably to the long term needs of the business?
In other words, can you really see yourself doing this and or being involved with this particular business and or project within in the next five years and beyond? Especially if it’s only mildly profitable initially.
3.) Surefire sign # three: Can you channel your current passion for this particular niche into practical (extremely) customized marketing plan? In other words, can you take your vision and convert it into a workable game plan for this particular project?

Bonus consideration:
4.) Surefire sign # four: Are you mentally, emotionally and financially prepared and committed to developing the type of staff that you’re surely gonna need, if this business involves employees interacting with the general public.
If you answered yes to those four bare bones minimum considerations. Congratulation my friend! Because you may have in fact truly discovered an extremely potentially profitable niche market.
And one that is uniquely suited to your current skill set and passion etc. Don’t you agree?
