Are you currently familiar with the term “micro Podcasting?” I hadn’t heard of the term either. Until one of my Linkedin connections. An Internationally known business guru named Callum Laing recently invited me to do one for his podcast. (And BTW, did I mention he’s also authored two books?)

And of course I leaped at the chance. Well by the same token. Whether you or your major competitors primarily market your business on or offline. You can and should seriously consider forming micro partnerships of some kind. Huh?

Because when or as you do so. As they become more and more profitable. You’ll definitely better appreciate how the right partnerships in business definitely speed your long term growth.

And help you not only build but rapidly expand your brand. In most cases for literally pennies on the dollar. How you so skeptically ask? It’s actually rather simple. Think about the networks of some of the most influential men and women currently in your particular space.

When they mention you or I or your major competitors on either their state of the art WordPress blog. Or they showcase our websites on their social media platforms.

Doing so causes new eyeballs to come check us out, correct? Absolutely. Believe or not. Offline, certain businesses or service providers can do the same thing. Or those non directly competing vendors, can and definitely should occasionally leverage your current and future customer base. Take a closer look to get a concrete idea or two about how to go about forming these potentially profitable micro or full fledged JV (Joint Venture) partnerships.

Is Partnership Really Good For Business?

The short generic answer is most definitely. But the real long term more in depth answer is. It most definitely depends. Because sometimes. Even the most initially promising partnership. Can end up going really bad. Really fast.

Which is why micro partnerships of some kind. Can be or become incredibly lucrative. Because maybe you really don’t need to try and form a traditional long term partnership of some kind. Say what? Owners not only change directions some times.

But maybe the original partners of a promising business or service suddenly decide to sell their interest in the venture to someone else. And if these new owner(s) now have controlling interest.

Maybe they decide (over the objections) of the remaining partners/owners. To take the venture in a whole new direction. Or maybe the new controlling interest owner(s) want to take on more long or short term debt than you think is necessary or even financially sound to do so.

In any event. In a general sense. Partnerships in business can be a very good thing. And a welcomed long or short term strategy. It doesn’t automatically mean it’s right for you. Based on where your company or service is right now. Or the overall direction you plan on taking it in the not so distant future.

 Strategic Micro Partnerships Can Be Or Quickly Become The Much Needed Shot In The Arm! (So Many Aspiring Entrepreneurs Need!)

You Definitely Don’t Have To Have A Full Blown Partnership In Order To Benefit From Leveraging Other Non Directly Competing Vendors Assets Or Resources!

Being connected on both Linkedin and appearing as a guest on one of Callum-s micro podcast. Definitely helps further elevate my status and brand. (Don’t you agree?) Because there’s a very good chance.

At least 99% of the current and future eyeballs which get introduced to me because of the free viral exposure, both via his guest podcasting opportunity and being featured on his youtube channel as well.

The vast majority of them would probably never heard of me. Agreed? And yet because of this micro partnership strategy. I’ll get rock star like free marketing exposure.
