Be brutally honest here. Whatever you’re currently doing to promote, advertise or market your business or services. Does it include any type of strategic A/B split testing of any kind? If not, why not? Because if nothing else.
Consistently implementing some type of proven A/B split testing definitely helps you or your major competitors, eliminate. In some cases altogether. What simply isn’t currently working. Or proactively tweak what is.
In order to fully maximize your current and future long term gross profits going forward. Which strategies just aren’t quite bringing home the bacon. Or discovering, possibly for the very first time. Which direction you definitely need to go going forward.
Meanwhile, the vast majority, (typically) 90% or more of your major competitors. go on day after day. With virtually no clue. “How” much long term gross front or back end profits. They’re constantly leaving on the table. For other marketers to eventually claim.
And you’ll continue to miss out too. Unless or until…

Or service. Great question. And the far more in depth answer is. It truly depends on whether or not some form of strategic A/B split testing is a part of your long term marketing or promotional mix.
Because if or once it is. You can start to literally get very creative with your marketing, promoting and even your traditional advertising campaigns. Say what? Nod your heads cadets. Because it’s true.
Case in point. Let’s say you’re the owner of a single location, non franchised Mom & pop bakery. And you’ve got more than your fair share of local customers. Many of whom are generational in nature. Meaning: It may have initially started out with either an individual. Then later on their brothers and sisters.
Then later the aforementioned kids. And of course tons of local business owners. Or it started off with the grandparents. Then their kids and later on their grand kids.
The point is. You’ve literally got tons of locals. Who still buy their birthday cakes or graduation from X cakes. Huh? Meaning: The recipient is graduating from high school, college, law or dental or chiropractic school etc.
Or then again. Maybe the cake is for a couples 1st or 2nd born. Or the grandparents are buying the cake to celebrate the birth of their 1st or 2nd grand kids birth etc.
The Closer You Look The More Previously Untapped Marketing Opportunities You’ll See!
Say strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. You pre- arrange a mutually beneficial JV (Joint Venture) arrangement with an up and coming local magician or two.
You’ll keep your secondary choice on standby. This way if your first choice ever has a scheduling conflict. Hopefully choice # number two can step in and salvage your arrangement.
Here’s how your JV revenue arrangement works. You provide a sealed envelop with the words in big bold, bright red letters written on the outside of it. “You definitely deserve this!”
Needless to say. Whomever the ultimate recipients are. They won’t waste much time ripping the envelop open, right? Would you? Me neither. So they rip it open.
And initially here’s what they’ll discover. Two extremely time sensitive, (preferably market tested) gift certificates enclosed. Say what? Obviously the 1st extremely time sensitive gift certificate will be from you or your major competitors bakery.
And the customer can save X% off their very next purchase. As long as they place their order within X number of days.
Often Times Previously Untapped Marketing Opportunities Are Just Below The Surface!
And the 2nd extremely time sensitive gift certificate. Your customer can either decide to use for themselves. (If the their personal situation warrants it.) Or they are encouraged to give the certificate away to anyone they wish to. As long as they do so before it actually expires.
And the 2nd extremely time sensitive gift certificate will be from your 1st choice local magician. Say what?
The magician will be offering a first time customer discount of X% off. Or (as previously mentioned), the customer who may not have kids at all. Or their kid or kids may be older. And no longer the ideal target market of the magician.
They can and in most cases. They’ll eagerly pass the extremely time sensitive discount coupon or gift certificate to whomever they wish to. Like an extremely close relative, a sibling, co-worker, colleague or neighbor etc.
And get this. The magician (going forward) will start passing out. Extremely time sensitive gift certificates to you or your major competitors bakery. So the recipients who hired them. They can save X% off their very next purchase.
The More You Or Your Major Competitors Strategically A/B Split Test! ( The More Potential Long Term Gross Profits You Will Probably Earn!)
For an extremely limited time. Plus. As an added bonus. Every six months. You or your major competitors will give the magician. And all of your other local JV revenue share partners.
Ten or X number of extremely time sensitive gift certificates, which allow the recipients to save 50 or X% off their purchase. As long as they spend at least $30 dollars or more.
The A/B split testing strategy is this. Tabulate “how” much gross business you do. Say for six months. Without utilizing any of the potential marketing strategies and tactics you’ve been exposed to here. Versus ‘how” much you or your major competitors gross simply by strategically A/B split testing them.
