(For Dramatically Increasing The Odds Of Your Long Term Success!)
Can you please be brutally honest here? On average “if” at all. How many hours per week do you invest watching either non productive youtube videos. Or X amount of hours per week entertaining yourself bingeing on either Netflix or Hulu?
If your brutally honest answer is ten hours per week or more. Great news entrepreneur. In an average four week month. You could start investing those same 40 or X number of hours per month investing in some potentially profitable self improvement/self development material of some kind. In other words systematically investing in developing skills which are bankable. (To some degree or another.)
Can and definitely will lead to opening far more doors. Than just remaining mediocre at best and basically treading water. The more bankable skills you have or can acquire within a relatively reasonable amount of time. The more doors which were previously closed will definitely start to open. (Very wide in some cases.)
And so too will the previously untapped marketing/promotional opportunities. Entrepreneur are you up for those possibilities or what?
Ladies And Gentlemen Are You Sure You’re Ready For The Positive Compound Effect?
What I mean by that question is basically this. You’ve probably heard the saying “when it rains it pours.” In this case it also works in the opposite way as well. Meaning, an initial positive thing or positive situation can often be the springboard into things which are so much more valuable and meaningful.
Case in point. At least some of you may already know the name Steve Pappas of Science Of CX podcast. (Depending on when you’re actually reading this particular blog post.( I’m scheduled to be on his show Wednesday May 25 @ 2pm EST. That’s he and I pictured below.)

So What The Heck Does Personally Developing Your Skills Have To Do With Opening The Doors To Some Long Term Marketing Opportunities Or Possibilities?
First of all so glad you finally decided to ask entrepreneur. You’ve probably heard the saying. There’s a reason “why” the good lord gave us two ears and one mouth, correct? Because that’s the proven ratio successful people use them.
This particular case. Developing and strategically utilizing my listening skills. During Steven and my pre call. Which for the record lasted an incredible 90 minutes. Say what?
So much so. As soon as he and I got off our zoom pre call. Steve immediately sent me his calendar link to schedule my guest podcast appearance. And he also included a really cool message and video.
While you can clearly see the screenshot image directly below. You can’t hear the contents of his very cool message. He basically conveyed the exact same sentiments I felt about our very first, (but certainly not last!) meetings together.
And I definitely made it crystal clear just “how” much I want to potentially JV (Joint Venture) revenue share some potential seven or eight figure a year projects with him.
Because we both have extremely valuable assets, proven expertise and established connections the other doesn’t. So “why” not strategically resource share for the mutual benefit of each other?

Entrepreneur Your Current Or Future Bankable Skills Are Your Currency Which Opens Doors Extremely Wide!
In this case my proactively listening and chatting with Steve led us to an incredibly positive pre call which (totally unbeknownst to me!) lasted an incredibly 90 minutes.
Entrepreneur on average, (whether) you’re the podcast host or guest. “How” long does your typical pre-call last? I’ll bet your brutally honest answer is nowhere near 90 minutes, correct?
(No worries, because typically neither do mine.) But in this particular case our initial pre call has opened the door to some long term JV revenue generating possibilities. I’ll definitely keep posted. Because when it comes to business and general and successful podcasting in particular.
Steve Pappas is definitely one of your proven go to expert sources. Because he’s been both a producer, executive producer. (The source that’s primarily responsible for getting or raising the money for the project.) And he’s even made personal financial investments in some of the entrepreneurial projects he’s been involved in.
And I can honestly in our brief 90 minute pre call. I felt like I had attended the University of Steven. With regards to “discovering” the how’s and what fundamental components go into starting and growing a successful podcast.
And at the end of our incredibly positive and productive session. Steve even offered to do a zoom session with me. And I’ll publish it to both my youtube channel and on Linkedin as well.
Entrepreneur all this was accomplished on a so called pre call session. So going forward. Are you starting to better appreciate “why” developing skills is well worth the effort? I sincerely hope so.
