As you previously discovered in part one of this series about “how to” stop your outrageously expensive advertising techniques from costing you a fortune! The main thing is, not to rely so much on the traditional advertising methods! Certainly your business may (from time to time) need to do some type of conventional advertising. Agreed.

But not to the point of it practically bankrupting you!  Because remember, whenever you allocate money to one part of your business, it’s not able to be working twice as hard for you somewhere else. Which means, you definitely need to investigate ( inexpensively test) various ways of (both) creating and perpetuating business.  Especially repeat business.Don’t you agree?

So What Is A Proven Alternative To Outrageously Expensive Advertising Techniques?

(That May Or May Not Work!)

As previously mentioned in part one of this series. What if a savvy local jeweler found a well respected (and extremely popular) local golf instructor (male or female) that was currently employed at one of the most popular and affluent local country clubs.

And they allowed the instructor to purchase (both) a really nice $3,500 necklace and really nice watch at the the jewelers actual cost!

The instructor is constantly rubbing shoulders with the affluent five or six days a week! Plus, eating out at the best local restaurants and regularly attending the exclusive invitation only events and private dinners etc!

And guess “what” they’ll be wearing/showing off at most of (if not) all of those events! You got that right! And the best part is, now there is no chance of one of the jewelers most effective marketing strategies being totally ignored! Don’t you agree?

Or what about this approach as another proven alternative to the outrageously expensive traditional advertising waste fest! The jeweler finds a successful local (high profile) CFP (Certified Financial Planner or two) that owns their own business, that consistently earns at least six figures per year!

And let him or her (and their spouses) or significant other have nice matching his & her Rolex watches at the jewelers actual cost! And maybe if the CFP is a man that’s married! Make sure you give the wife some really nice $500 dollar diamond studded earrings at cost, plus a really eye catching necklace to go with it!

Talk about an extremely effective 24/7 positive word of mouth walking /talking billboard! Whenever she has a dinner party or attends a high profile social event or local political function etc. The jewelers influence will be felt as well!Without the jeweler having to be an official sponsor of some kind!

Don’t you agree? Hopefully, you see and appreciate the main point here!

Which is, while the jewelers other local main competitors are constantly blowing a hole in their gross profit margins!Because they’re constantly spending a fortune on outrageously expensive traditional advertising mediums, like local radio and TV ads etc. This extremely savvy jeweler is constantly getting directly in front of brand new potential first time and more importantly (long term ) repeat customers, and they’ll only spend money one time! Not over and over!

And they break even up front, (at least 97% of the time) because their customers buy directly at cost at a huge discount and then they go forth for years and years to come, yapping it up! Causing a certain percentage of their circle of influence to head over to jeweler’s store as well! Right? (Which means everybody makes more money!)

So “who” needs to be bothered with outrageously expensive hit & miss advertising techniques, when you can and should use battlefield tested marketing tactics and strategies! Don’t you agree?
