Why Spend A Fortune On Wasteful Advertisements When A Little Strategic Marketing Will Do The Trick!

So ladies & gentlemen did  you happen to read any of the three previous installments I wrote earlier about extremely wasteful advertisements?

If you haven’t yet, you definitely should. Because those three previous installments, will definitely tie into the pro-active, long term- non conventional- marketing approaches, that you’re about to be exposed to here! Quite nicely!

Because when it comes to extremely deep pocketed major corporations spending, (make that) wasting a proverbial fortune on outrageously expensive (traditional) forms of advertisements.

Can you think of any company more fitting of that extremely accurate description then (the once mighty) Kmart? Talk about falling on how hard times as of late! If you can call the last twenty five years or so, late!

Hey, (way, way) back in the day, they most certainly used to have it going on! Remember?

But then, a newer sleeker, more cost and efficiency conscious, updated and consumer “needs” driven major competitor emerged! And well… You know the rest! Right? King Walmart ascended to the throne, and doesn’t appear anywhere nears ready to relinquish it, any time soon!

That said: all is certainly not lost, yet. (Although the clock is certainly ticking!)

That is unless Kmart wishes to continue on their downward spiral-into the retail abyss-  simply by refusing to aggressively adapt to the ever changing and fiercely competitive retail environment.

Of which they currently find themselves immersed in. So the main purpose of this post, is to share at least three sort of -think outside the box- long term, pro-active, non conventional marketing strategies, that given time and the proper testing and tweaking, (of course!) Could most certainly help put them back on the fast track to long term viability and permanent solvency! Seriously!….

 Why Do So Many Extremely Successful Corporations Waste So Much Of Their Hard Earned Money On Outrageously Expensive Advertisements?

(When A Little Strategic Marketing Will Certainly Do The Trick!)

Take for example, (the once mighty) Kmart corporation. Let’s have a look at “how” three incredibly simple, non conventional marketing strategies (over time of course),could most certainly help them to regain some of their lost footing. Granted, they will probably never ever return to their previous glory days, of yester years gone by!

In fact: in defense of them and their slow and steady fall from grace. How many of you reading this, can honestly say,  that you’re better off today, than you were 25 years ago! Provided, you were at least age twenty one, twenty five years ago! The defense rests your honor! Now then:

On to the business at hand. Let’s quickly take a look at “how” at least three extremely pro-active -think outside the box marketing strategies- Kmart (and or mystery retail company X), will use to try and get back on track.

So What Is The Best Marketing Strategy When You’re Just Starting Out!

But first, (I simply must share with you a comment that I recently received from a fellow blogger!) This incredibly dynamic, serial entrepreneur, goes  by the name of Kyle Nelson. And he routinely shares some outstanding content, on practically every aspect of being a successful serial entrepreneur!

So please check out this totally awesome post he recently shared, about “how” this one simple word, will definitely help you close more sales asap!

And just so you know (and understand) the reference here. Since this first non conventional marketing concept, involves the effective (although) creative use of opt in email marketing.

Kyle recently shared an outstanding ninja opt in email marketing tip, when he left a comment on my post about the same subject. So I asked if I could share it with you, provided I gave the credit where it was most certainly do!

Entrepreneur There’s Certainly More Than One Way To Profit From Good Old Fashion Opt In Email Marketing!

So yes, since our hypothetical marketing example case study will most certainly involve Kmart strategically using (either) battlefield proven opt in email marketing strategies and or text messaging marketing strategies etc.

Here’s “why” what Kyle shared is so potentially valuable to you. It’s a potential opt in email marketing strategy you just might wanna try by (inexpensively testing) it first!

Kyle shared that one of his local consulting clients owns (at least) one Mom & Pop style pizza shop.

Where’s there’s only a bazillion others! So needless to say competition and price wars are extremely fierce! And all too common.

Kyle’s client decided to

(test!), offering the parents of a family of four, that opted into his email list, a chance to win a couple of pizzas.

(Wow I’m not totally sure if the pizza sizes were, (medium and or large!) Because he didn’t specify, (and he also didn’t specify) if it was to be once a month or once every other month for a whole year etc!

 Catering To Your Specific Target Audience Is Always At The Heart Of Any Successful Marketing Campaign!

Now think about how awesome a potential ethical bribe freebie that might be? Or what about this one!

A local (incredibly) popular barbecue chain opened a store in (my) general area.

And as part of their media blitz grand opening marketing campaign, they held a free drawing for a $25 dollar gift certificate, that could be used every week for an entire year!

How awesome is that? Again, are you starting to get any -think outside the box- potential marketing ideas, here? I hope so! And remember, these are just general marketing concepts!

Profit Seeking Entrepreneurs Would Be Wise To At Least Inexpensively Test Some Successful Marketing Strategies And Tactics!

They’re not etched in stone! Meaning, maybe you might offer free or one dollar desserts for any two people, for a whole year at your restaurant!

Or free pet walking once per week for a whole year or six months, for the grand prize winner that joins your list or enters your free drawing etc!

Or what about this one? Free snow removal from traditional snow removal season until the end of February!

That’s your grand prize for  one of your extremely lucky opt ins! Or free landscaping valued at X per job, throughout the entire summer months! Or whatever! Entrepreneur get creative with the gray matter located between your left and right ears!

But here’s the thing. While all of these-think outside the box- ninja marketing strategies and or  tactics, most certainly have potential! In part two:

You Have To Invest In Some Proven Strategies To Retain Customers! (Especially If You Can Consistently Do So For Literally Pennies On The Dollar!)

Watch “how” Kmart (and or) mystery corporation X, plans to strategically use good old fashion opt in email marketing, (and or text messaging) in order to systematically grow their business! And thus avoid outrageously expensive advertisements in the process!

So you definitely won’t to stay tuned for the subsequent follow up installments in this series. Because Kmart is going to build a freaking humongous multi layered back end sales funnel! For a literally a tenth of the traditional costs! Watch, you’ll see!
