So What Happens When A New Way Of Thinking Meets Opportunity Half Way?Part Two

So did you notice “how” in part one of this ongoing series, how a hand full of extremely savvy entrepreneurs, who just so happened to work in and around the radio advertising industry, were able (over time of course), to leverage periodic economic downturns, so they led to some new way of seeing things and therefore led them to meet opportunity half way.

I mean, who would have thought, these futuristic thinkers would have actually been pulling for some type of local economic downturn! 😎

But typically, real entrepreneurs are never bullied by (either) the prevailing thoughts at the time nor, how bad the so called economic climate is.

All they know is, they have a gut feeling and or a set of previous (and or) current economic circumstances and experiences, that led them to rightly conclude, that in spite of whatever’s taken place to that point, they’re ultimately going to succeed!

And that type of thinking and mindset is not only inspiring, but it’s infectious as well!

So Is It Still Possible To Meet Opportunity At Least Half Way Without This So Called New Way Of Thinking?

Probably not. That being said; ladies & gentlemen, (entrepreneur) I want you to sit back and take a really deep breath! And I also want you to put your very best creative marketing hat on.(Because this ride is definitely worth it!)

Because you are about to do what marketing legend “Alex Mandossian” likes to refer to as a “deep dive!” And I gotta tell ya, if you’re creative marketing gear isn’t strapped on extremely tight!

The lights are going to go out and unfortunately, you will not be able to see what’s coming, even if you have a flashlight! 😎 So buckle up and please pay very close attention!Because it’s about to get downright creative and (potentially) extremely profitable!

Back when the incredibly popular and extremely profitable, (offline) free 90 minute introductory workshop/,fairly expensive three to five day paid seminars (and or) boot camps on the various subjects such as “how to” make a fortune in real estate, the stock market and or the “how to” make money, by starting very your very own business industry was really starting to heat up.

Not only would you constantly see their quarter and half page ads being running in all type of major financial publications, specialty, paid yearly subscription magazines and newsletters and or major newspapers such as the Wall Street Journal etc.

But early morning cable TV air space was starting to literally explode with these (early morning 30- 60 minute (direct response) type of infomercials as well.

And one incredibly savvy toll free number supplier, quickly noticed an untapped marketing opportunity within the industry, and they literally ran with it and made an absolute fortune in the process!

And were one of the true forerunners that gave rise to the much coined phrase “multiple streams of income!”

Real Business Opportunities Often Lurk Just Beneath Surface Of A Lack Luster Marketing Technique And Or Process!

Basically in a nutshell, here’s what this extremely savvy toll free number supplier did, to literally create millions of dollars in additional long term gross profits and create multiple streams of income in the process!

First, they constantly collected (and meticulously monitored) tons of the various, and most popular financial newsletters and or magazines that had huge paid subscription bases.

Plus they kept really close track of popular publications  like the Wall Street Journal’s paid quarter and half a page ads, that were run by many of the previously mentioned industries as possible.

And whenever they saw one of these vendors not repeat one of their quarter and or half a page ads, here’s what they did. They’d immediately contact the company and find out “if” they’d be interested in re- running the ad, (using a simple, yet proven marketing twist), and this time do either a front (or back end) profit share revenue split of some kind.

Here’s what the savvy toll free number supplier would propose, because they had already made huge financial commitments with some of the exact same major newsletter, newspaper and or specialty publications where these advertisers had previously run some of  their quarter and half page ads.

This time, the toll free number supplier would allow the advertiser to use one of their toll free  numbers in the ad!

(Wanna take a wild guess what that one little strategic change did to the ads overall response rates?)Next, because the toll free number supplier was buying these ad slots in such huge bulk pricing, they could purchase them typically for just forty cents on the dollar!

Which meant, the typical quarter page to half page display ad that cost an advertiser $20,000 dollars or so, the supplier could get the exact same ad for just $8,000 dollars or thereabouts! Just depending (of course), on which specific publication they were negotiating with!($20,000 x .40% = $,8000 dollars.)

Real Business Opportunities Often Present Themselves When The Vast Majority Of The Market Has Long Since Bailed!

So the toll free number supplier would immediately resell that same quarter or half a page ad space to their newly formed partners partners at 60 just cents on the dollar or $12,000 dollars!

Plus, they’d let their advertising partners keep 100% of the revenue they generated by (still) having their regular (direct dial) phone numbers in the ads.

But the supplier got 50% of all the initial front end income generated by supplying their toll free number service in the ads and 25% -50% of all the back end generated income as well!

Entrepreneur, here’s where we officially start deep diving! So please hang on! 😎 Since not all of the calls to their toll free numbers were for actual sales, some were merely inquirees.

The toll free number supplier negotiated, (both) they and the advertisers share joint ownership of the list that was being simultaneously built.And over time they marketed those specific lists to other vendor/marketers on a 50/50 joint venture basis.

And since they actually ended up with literally hundreds of thousands of inquirees over the years, they also turned them over to some of the top industry – opportunity seekers- name brokers and created a passive income of ten to fifteen cents per name/lead!

With the bare bones minimum to rent the list being in batches of 5,000 names/leads or more!

And on and on they went! In part three, we’ll dive even deeper! So you can see “how” this extremely savvy toll free number service provider, literally created massively profitable multiple streams of income!
