Do you currently have any outside vendors you constantly do business with? (Or soon will be doing business with.) If so then more than likely, you already have a pretty good idea of how the overall concept of relationship marketing works. Correct?
And when it comes to servicing the day lights out of your current and future customers or clients. You you and definitely appreciate how consistently doing so fuels both your current and future growth, right? Agreed.
But when it comes to systematically converting your traditional advertising dollars into some potentially bank account marketing strategies and tactics. Sadly, far too many aspiring entrepreneurs. Both on or offline consistently fall flat.
And this definitely doesn’t have to be the case. But it’s gonna take more than some theoretical answers. You’re gonna need to strategically and systematically A/B split test certain key marketing/promotional variables.
Keep an eye on your overall results or lack thereof. And if and when you need to do some type of marketing or promotional pivoting. Then you simply must do some immediately. Otherwise you run the risk of being or quickly becoming financially upside down. And if that trend continues. And you can’t figure out how to turn things around.
At some point your financial Titanic will ultimately sink. The small business failure rate stats are clear evidence of this undeniable fact. So you may wanna pay close attention here….
So You Gotta Be Wondering What Is An Example Of Relationship Marketing! (And How Can Or Does It Increase Your Bottom Line!)
Nowhere near as difficult as it may initially appear. But like anything else worth pursuing. It’s definitely gonna take some continuous laser focused effort on your part.
But whatever proven marketing or promotional path you initially start down. Please keep in mine. The more you or your major competitors invest in nurturing some type of relationship marketing strategies and tactics.
The faster you business or service can and definitely will grow. And usually for a whole lot less money and or financial difficulty. Of course you and I will have our occasional challenges and temporary road blocks and temporary setbacks etc.
That’s just part of the deal, right? But these things will all be multiplied in more ways than one when you and I try to be an island. You definitely need reliable partners of all kinds.
And rest assured there are different kinds of levels of partnership/strategic alliance marketing. You and I can and should embrace and systematically apply to growing our businesses or services.
Because as you do so. You get both direct and indirect access to other profit seeking vendors current and future resources and assets etc.
Say for example. Your extremely popular gourmet coffee distributorship wants to expand your idea prospect/customer base. But unlike the vast majority of your major competitors.
You’re no longer willing to waste tons of your advertising/marketing dollars, on outrageously expensive, dismally performing traditional advertising or promotional campaigns.
Which is why going forward. You’ll start forming potentially, mutually beneficial JV (Joint Venture) partnerships with other, non directly competing vendors.
Why Constantly Try To Go It Alone! (When You Have Potential Non Directly Competing Partners More Than Willing To Help You Steadily Grow!)
Case in point. You know on average, for every ten first time potential customers. In other words. On average every ten new prospects who sample any of your great tasting beverages. Like your ice teas, exotic lemonades or cocoas. But especially your extremely great tasting gourmet coffees.
Normally six of them or 60% of them will make their initial purchase. And going forward. Four out of the six. Or 66% of them usually become repeat long term customers.
Who not only repeat their purchases for themselves. But they also frequently purchase 5,10 and 20 lb. (pound) bags as special gifts for. Their current and future co-workers. Their relatives, in laws. Their boss or employees. Their current and future vendors. Their current and future neighbors etc.
The above mentioned pools of potential long term repeat customers, is more than enough to scale you or your major competitors business. Correct? Especially if you can dramatically lower your traditional upfront out of pocket costs. Agreed?
So Why Not get Certain Local Vendors To Systematically Help Grow Your Business! (And Build Some Long Term Goodwill In The Process!
So initially you call up as few local landscaping business owners. And after having at least two of them do your lawn over a two – three month period. You ask both the “magic” question. Huh? Which is. “Is it okay to periodically refer you new business?” And if or once you get an emphatic yes on the initial front end of your question.
And typically you will a staggering 95-98% of the time. And on the back side you also ask. “And by the same token. As long as it doesn’t interfere with anything you currently have going on. Both now and in the future. Are you okay with periodically returning the favor?”
If and when you get an emphatic yes on both ends. You then offer the landscaping business owners and the employees with him. Guess what? A free 5 or X lb. sample of the gourmet flavor of coffee of their choice. Say what?
Actually. In order to be an extremely savvy marketer. You offer both the landscaping owner(s) and their employees the following A/B split test offer.
A.) Right on the spot they receive an extremely time sensitive gift certificate to save 10% off a five pound bag of gourmet coffee o their choice from your store.
B.) Or simply for joining your opt in email/text message list. And dragging a friend with them whose at least 18. Before the handwritten date of their extremely time sensitive gift certificate expires.
They automatically get to purchase a twenty pound bag of gourmet coffee of their choice. Say what? And you know at least some of them will definitely decide to drag a friend with them to your shop before their extremely time sensitive gift certificate expires. Correct?
And constantly brag to any and every one who will listen to them. Both on and off of social media about their extremely good fortune. Agreed? For sure.
