So How Do Savvy Entrepreneurs Consistently Spot Those Seemingly Hidden Opportunities? Part Two

As you previously recall from part one of this ongoing series about, how these extremely savvy entrepreneurs just somehow seem to consistently spot previously untapped and or hidden potential opportunities, that sadly the rest of seem to either overlook entirely and or not fully grasp all the enormous potential!

Because when your/our minds are receptive, you start to really take notice of all kinds of potential -previously- hidden opportunities (of both) a personal and or business nature. In fact, once you start to really develop an entrepreneurial mindset, these previously hidden and untapped opportunities just start to surface.

Of course the main critical difference between successful entrepreneurs and the rest of us is: real entrepreneurs will somehow find an effective way to eventually take advantage of at least some of the potential untapped opportunities that come their way.

While the rest of us, will consistently  find ways and or excuses, not to! So the remainder of this post will be attempting to demonstrate even more creative think outside the box ways, that (our) hypothetical -mid six figure earning- stock broker/preneur Mary uses to find potential long term clients.

Basically, by learning “how to” take every day common occurrences and spotting the potentially hidden opportunities in them.

But more importantly, capitalizing off them. because most people are in fact creative, where they seem to miss the boat, is they (more times not), simply don’t follow through on their creative inspirational hunches, the way true entrepreneurs do.

So How Do These Extremely Savvy Entrepreneurs Consistently Spot Hidden Opportunities The Rest Of Us Constantly Overlook!

Just to quickly recap from part one, as you recall our hypothetical -mid six figure a year earning- stock broker Mary, was in the process of turning a routine trip to a paid parking garage, into a creative think outside the box way of inexpensively prospecting for potential new customers (and) or potential long term repeat clients as well.

So now let’s dive a little deeper into her various guerrilla marketing approaches and, see how many other relatively low cost creative ways she (and or you) might b able to potentially  use to generate even more business.

Without having to compete directly with all of the traditional type of competition. That by now, she’s more than used to doing. First off, Mary will initially inexpensively test two different two sided index cards.

In order to discover “which” if either approach touches on any potential hot buttons for her target audience. So two sided index card (A) might have a main power headline that simply reads: ” Does Your Current Stock Portfolio Work For You? Or Do You Work For It?” (Or something to that effect.

And two sided index card (B) might read: “Could Your Family Maintain The Exact Same Lifestyle If You Weren’t Around?” In this case Mary is going straight for the -proverbial jugular!

Now (on the back side) of both index cards, they will be directed to a special lead capture page in order to watch a powerful 21 minute video about the potential pitfalls of investing in the stock market, without the help of a qualified expert such as Mary.

And then, they’ll be directed a hidden page on Mary’s company’s WordPress blog, where they can set an appointment for a free 90 minute introductory ” potential needs analysis” interview. Which Mary will be sure and point out is a $250 (or X ) dollar value.

And here’s “how” Mary will strategically leverage today’s modern technology. She will merely inform (in this particular) case the garage owner to or their attendants, text her a picture of any fairly new luxury cars, they think may meet her specific criterion.

And if she decides she wants to pay the car owners weekly and or monthly garage rental fee etc; she’ll leave enough cash with the owner to cover a maximum of 15 cars per month.

Plus, once they opt into Mary’s constantly growing email list.

Mary will automatically begin sending them pre  written email messages (one ) per week for the next 52 weeks. And sometimes they will be pure content and other times, they will be a combination of education based content and links to various (live) and pre recorded webinars, tele-seminars, stock investment analysis cheat sheets and periodic offline 90 minute “No Holds Barred” Q & A workshop invitations as well.

And of course the subscribers are free to unsubscribe anytime they wish! For sure Mary is going to be doing some other extremely creative think outside the box things as well.

And just to get your creative juices (truly) flowing, and show you “how to” start developing the contrarian type of creative marketing mindset that you need. (Please) check out this excellent blog post by the oh so brilliant Internet marketing and top blogging expert Jackson Nwachukwa, where he reveals at least five incredibly practical uses for spam, believe it or not!

And Mary is definitely a product of this same type of think outside the box marketing mold. For ex; take a look at “how” Mary will systematically A/B  performance split test her results from the car garage lead generating strategy, against another one of her relatively low cost – proactive- lead generating tactics.

Occasionally  (believe it or not!)  Mary’s totally pimped out luxury Beamer has to be taken in for routine servicing. And when it does, Mary uses a close girlfriend’s significant other that runs a local auto body shop that specializes in foreign cars. (Oh how convenient!)

Anyway, Mary has him text her pictures of some of the newer luxury cars that he services and if she likes what she sees, guess what? She offers to pay the first $50 dollars towards their bill!

Imagine the recipient’s total surprise and delight! When they discover some mysterious local professional has picked up the first $50 dollars (and or X amount) of their total bill!

You think at least some of them will decide to have a look at Mary’s (or your) 21 minute video or X! You’d better believe it! And Mary carefully tracks both (and other) creative lead generating approaches, to see which (if either) consistently produces the most bang for her marketing buck!

And you and I should too! In any event, hopefully you can or are starting to see and appreciate how these extremely entrepreneurs, consistently spot these seemingly hidden potential marketing opportunities, that the rest of us, for whatever reasons, don’t! Any questions?

  1. Hi Mark,

Funny, a friend and ex-accountability partner and I were speaking just last night for the first time in a little over a year. The longer we talked (almost two hours), we noticed that bit by bit, things were coming into our remembrance (ideas, dreams, passions) that we had not yet taken action on. We noted that God had given both of so many ideas and felt guilty for letting them drop through the cracks. We decided to give ourselves a kick in the butt by becoming accountable to each other again.

    Have an amazing weekend!
