So Have You Noticed How Building Relationships In Business And Your Personal Life Have An Awful Lot In Common?

No ones going to deny, (in the open anyway), constantly building relationships in business, is simply a must, is it not? Agreed.

However, when it comes to nurturing the various relationships in your personal life.

Have you started to notice, just how much, (and) how many frighteningly similarities there truly are, with regard to building and sustaining your business relationships and doing so in your personal life as well.

And how it’s very easy, to tear down things, so much faster than they are to build and nurture.

Let’s have a much closer look. Then you ultimately be the judge.Fair enough?

This Is Why You Should Definitely Start Taking Notice Of Your Relationship Building Activities!

Case in point. Imagine this particular scenario constantly unfolding. And you be brutally honest here. What would you ultimately decide to do?

Continuing on with this example same pattern, steadily unfolding. And or simply decide, perhaps it’s best to simply move on.

So let’s say you and a potential strategic alliance partner, decide to meet for lunch. Of course it goes without saying, you’re both extremely busy, and have plenty of must do activities, (both) on and offline, in order to fill your day and week.Correct? Agreed.

This being the case. You decide to meet. You both confirm and re-confirm the specific date and time.

You show up 15 minutes early. And guess what? The person you’re suppose to meet, finally shows up thirty minutes late.Say what? (Hold on, because unfortunately it gets even worse!)

Building Successful Business To Business Relationships Really Aren’t That Different Building Successful Personal Relationships!

And the worst part is.Not only do they not bother to even apologize. But they offer no explanation whatsoever.Excuse me?

And going forward, the next three times,(or X number of times), you two schedule a lunch meetup. It’s the exact same thing.

Here’s one of the $64,000 dollar questions for you. Would you, or how long would you tolerate such or similar behavior, in your personal life and or personal relationships? Bingo!

(Extremely important note: Be sure you watch the excellent featured video, for this particular post.Because it’s from my blog commenting bud, coach and mentor, expert blogger and social media influencer, Ryan Biddulph of bloggingfromparadise.com fame.)

His “tell it like it really is”, and not the way you wish or hope it would be commentary style, is the true inspiration, behind this particular blog post. Thanks for always cutting to the chase coach!)

Building Effective Business Relationships Or Personal Ones Definitely Take Both Time And Real Effort!

So imagine the following, (totally) ridiculous and totally outrageous scenario unfolding. You’re a senior loan officer specialist,(for the) residential loan department, for one of the areas top ten banks and or credit unions.

And one day, (completely) out of the blue, you get both (an) unsolicited, glorified spam email and follow up phone call.

And it’s from a person, claiming, they want to discuss your bank, possibly providing a major mortgage loan for them. And or an extended line of credit. So they can finally purchase their dream home.

And or open their brand new business and or service.

Building Relationships Is Not A Task! (It’s A Necessary Process To Help Insure Your Chances For Long Term Success!)

And when you try to direct them to your companies,(mandatory) pre qualification web page, and have them fill out, in essence, what equates to a semi detailed,pre-qualification form.

They abruptly respond. Not only do they not have time for such a trivial task!Huh?

But to be quite frank with you! The entire semi time consuming process, is basically beneath them.Excuse me?

And the flip side of this particular scenario is. Imagine meeting someone, you think you might be (at least) slightly interested in perusing a personal relationship with.

And you invite them to dinner. And they respond with, (not only) do they not have the time or the interest, in having dinner with you! Say what?

A Good Bran Awareness Strategy Doesn’t Involve Constantly Burning Bridges!

But, the whole idea of taking or investing the time and continuous effort, of getting to know each other, before the two of you can move forward.

It’s not only beneath them! But it’s a complete waste of their incredibly valuable time.Okay!

Hopefully, you’re starting to get the overall drift here.Correct? The main point being. If you’re really serious and dedicated to ultimately being successful. On or offline.

Then without a doubt, constantly and steadily building relationships in business, (as well) as in your personal life.

It takes both time and continuous effort. Don’t you agree? Great! So don’t be, (or stop being!), the person Ryan so accurately describes in his awesome video tutorial! Because at the end of the day.

If you keep utilizing that particular (disastrous approach), all you will ultimately have succeeded at, was shooting yourself in the foot!Don’t you agree?
