Would it pain you to know “why” you simply can’t make money now? Especially since your oh so beautiful website and or state of the art WordPress blog has so many beautiful do dads on it. That my friend is where your real problem lies! Huh? That’s right.
You see, unless you were extremely lucky, more than likely your site was built by someone (and or a company) that truly doesn’t understand online eCommerce. So they probably built your site in order to showcase all the fancy bells & whistles instead of focusing on generating repeat customers and or clients!
One approach systematically pads your bank account, and the other one merely drains it! Ouch! Let’s focus on adding to your bottom line! And let your competitors continue on with their old unprofitable ways! Whatdaya say?
Why You Simply Can’t Make Money Now!
(If Your Fancy Websites Keeps Doing These Three Profit Killing Things!)
Hey, just to make sure you are in the right place. Is the overall purpose of your website (and or blog) to increase your long term profits? Hey, just checking! That said; maybe you can explain, “why” if that’s truly the case. You would continue to do the following three profit killing things! When study after study and guru after guru has aptly demonstrated, that they kill your profitability!
1.) Proven profit killer #one: This first “power” no-no, comes from an extremely graphic offline real life example, that at least 97% of you or more can certainly relate to.
How many times have you gone into one of your local grocery stores, for the very first time, looking for a specific section and or product?
And low in behold, the stores signs, simply do nothing for you, so finally in desperation, you reach out and ask one of the stores clerks to tell you where X product is! Totally frustrating, right?
Two things:
A.) First, online, guess what? There isn’t anyone there (99%) of the time, to direct you to what you’re trying to find!
B.) Second: that being the case. Make your site navigation as simplistic as possible! Don’t make things hard to find or your visitors won’t leave skid marks! No visitors, no online profits! See ‘how” that works?
2.) Proven profit killer #two: Entrepreneur, entrepreneur, lose all the totally unnecessary code already! The search engine spiders won’t stick around to properly crawl your site in order to index it correctly.
They’ve got too many sites to visit, in order to be bothered! Translated; non of this fancy animated crap! The web designers and programmers that sold it to you may love it! And think it’s the bomb!
But the search engines spiders could care less and your site(s) won’t rank very high as a direct result. (News flash: the search spiders don’t care for flash technology!) Plus, it slows the loading time of your site! And it takes a ton of code to make it work! And all that code is a nightmare for the spiders.
So you decide which is more important. A fat ego or a fat wallet!
3.) Proven profit killer #three:Psst? Wanna know “why”they say a picture is worth a thousand words? The same reason why you’re highly encouraged to effectively use relevant images and add meaningful descriptive captions to go with them. No more random meaningless photos with no caption under them! Strategically change those three things, and you won’t have to wonder why you can’t make money now?
Because your website will finally start to do, what it was primarily designed to do! Any questions?
