As you previously discovered in part three about using some really effective creative marketing ideas, to grow your business. As my tech guru’s firm was busily attempting to trouble shoot my site, during our conversation on skype, he casually asked what could his company do to land more lucrative clients? (Translated: better clients that are eager or compelled to pay more upfront!)
I asked him for a quick and dirty laundry list of some on the main services they offer. The following short list is what he provided me with. SEO audits (don’t ask!), web development, PPC ad campaigns for Facebook and other social media platforms. And of course ongoing trouble shooting tech support.
And other techie stuff. But here’s the point. His firm knows all about coding and PHP and some other really techie stuff that I won’t bore you with here. The bottom line is, businesses of all sizes rely on these type of experts.
So I decided to offer my two cents to advance their cause….
You’d Be Surprised What A Few Creative Marketing Ideas Can Do For Your Bottom Line!
As you recall in part three, yours truly suggested my tech firm aggressively seek out associations (and or charities) that either want a state of the art WordPress website or blog etc. And offer to supply them with (either) a free or greatly reduced website and ongoing tech support.
And in exchange, the association will give the tech firm a free quarter page display ad. And the firm will advertise their monthly free drawing. And as previously mentioned, while they’re simultaneously building their list, they’ll award one grand prize winner -company- a fancy top of the line website/blog each month and offer a time sensitive discount coupon to all the runners ups, in exchange for some concessions on their part.
Here’s the next phase they can and should inexpensively test. Create a special VIP new customer only time sensitive discount coupon that (either) the association(s) or charities can give to any customer that purchases at least three or more classified and or display ads!
And may be create two separate offers.
A.) Offer # one: If any customers pre pays for either three classified ads and or display ads, they automatically get X% off my tech firms ongoing monthly maintenance support package. Plus they get an initial free SEO audit valued at X.
And if it turns out the company in questions wants to sign up for their ongoing monthly tech maintenance program, they’ll get a discount of X, provided they do X,Y and Z! (You know, provide testimonials or refer them or like them on Facebook etc.)
Obviously my tech firms main goal initially is to have a look under the proverbial hood so to speak of their WordPress and or Joomala blog’s dashboard and see what if anything needs some techie TLC! And make a potential new customer aware of all of their various services.
Entrepreneur Lead With Service Not Sales And You’ll Ultimately Make More Money!
B.) Offer # two: This particular offer(both) the charities and associations should really love. For every business that my tech firms build a website for (no matter) which price level it’s at. My tech firm will JV (joint venture) revenue share 25% with (either) the charity or association. Plus give the customer a special VIP new customer only -extremely time sensitive – discount of 25% off their normal retail rate for building their site.
But here’s what’s not to be lost in the sauce. While they’ll basically only gross 50% of their normal gross profit on these potential new customers, for building their websites, they’ll still gross 100% of all the ongoing monthly tech support maintenance fees!
Plus, all of their referrals and their bank account filling testimonials as well! Entrepreneur, is that worth grossing 50% upfront initially, while pocketing 100% of all the future back end income? Say yes!
By letting either a charity or association(s) offer your services to their customer base, via some special VIP new customer only -time sensitive- discount coupons!
Hopefully, you can see how these type of low cost, battlefield tested creative marketing ideas can and will make you more money, right? Say yes! Good! Any questions?
