You’ve heard the saying, “from the tiniest seeds, come the tallest tress,” right? But have you ever seriously considered how planting acorns is a lot like successfully growing your business?
There are several similarities between the two. This post will share at least five of them, that are easy to spot. Given the right mix of time, water and sunlight. and you’ve got the makings of a mighty oak tree.
And so it goes with successfully growing your business. You consistently add the right mix of new and repeat customers (and or clients), customized upsells, the right warranties and or guarantees, a few bonuses, and a proper, well thought out back end, just to name a few of the basic elements.
And entrepreneur, you’ve got the initial makings (the acorn if you will) of a potentially insanely profitable business model. Don’t you agree?
Have You Ever Noticed That Planting Acorns Is A Lot Like Growing Your Business?
Case in point; a recent email showed up in my inbox and this incredibly savvy marketer (that some of you) probably have and will do business with in the not so distant future.
He was marketing a $27 digital “how to” course. But get this; for that incredibly low entry level price (aka the acorn) his company was offering not one, but two incredibly generous power bonuses! First of all, you have to admit, just the fact that his offer included any bonuses at all, at that low initial price made his offer extremely competitive. Would you not agree?
Here they are; see “what” you think about this particular offer.
A.) Power bonus # one: A recording of a one day offline workshop that originally retailed for $497 dollars! Say what?
B.) Power bonus # two: The second power bonus is a Facebook (PPC) Pay Per Click course, that normally retails for $199 dollars. Here’s the first marketing ploy that was extremely telling.
As you (in this particular case) I attempted to exit the site, after (both) watching the brief video sales presentation and briefly skimming the accompanying sales letter. You are immediately hit with a “downsell” offer of just $9.95 for everything!
And that still included all of the aforementioned power bonuses!
Don’t Ever Underestimate The Long Term Profit Potential Of Low Front End Products!
First of all, would you not agree, that if a savvy marketing company is offering a digital course for just $27 dollars, (or X) and they’re throwing in two super bonuses, for a combined total perceived value of $696 dollars! ($199 + $497 = $696.)
And if you don’t accept their first offer, they’re still willing to strategically drop the price (downsell) to a measly $9.95 for everything!
My friend, you can best believe that their back end products or services, most definitely include (either) some type of fairly expensive paid monthly membership program. Or that funnel most definitely probably includes some type of high end one on one coaching/mentoring program.
(Certainly, that type of high end extremely profitable income stream, is definitely worth identifying these future customer/clients for just $27 dollars initially. Don’t you agree?)
And the price might be something like $10,000 dollars per year! Maybe $2,000 down and then monthly payments of anywhere from $500 -$1,000 dollars per month, until the remaining balance gets paid off!
That being the case, can you now see and hopefully appreciate “how” the initial low entry level price of $9.95 -$27 dollars represents the acorn and the high end one on one coaching back end represents the oak tree!
Watch “how” many more untapped potential cash flows are involved in this incredibly profitable business model! That’s how planting acorns are a lot like successfully growing your business! Any questions?
