Have you ever watched a uni-cyclist do what appears (for the rest of us mere mortals), to be darn near the impossible! Have you ever tried to ride one? Now of course, right about now, you’re wondering, what if any, type of marketing lessons, watching them perform could possibly provide?

 So What Powerful Marketing Lessons Can You Possibly Learn From Watching A Uni-cyclist?

Well entrepreneur, there’s really no mystery here. Think of your business (whether) it be service based or not. Let’s compare your business to a two legged stool. What (pray tell) happens, if one of the legs gets chopped off? It be kinda like the uni-cyclist trying to keep their balance wouldn’t it?

Of course your response might be, but a uni-cyclist rides just fine. That’s true, but only after many, many hours of practice, practice,practice! If you’ve ever tried to ride a unicycle, you’ll find it to be an extremely frustrating experience! Especially in the beginning, when you’re just starting out!

A simpler way of expressing this, in business terms is this.

If you base your our entire business strategy on “price” alone! Then entrepreneur, it’s only a matter of time before a more capitalized business (competitor) will eventually beat you at the price game!

So just like uni cyclist, after much dedicated effort, you can indeed learn to ride! But it’s going to take a lot of dedication! So you can (with) a whole  lot of effort, adjust your profit  margins (for a while) and try and compete  on price alone! But just like a two legged stool, if one leg gets chopped off, it’s going to take a gargantuan effort to learn to keep your balance!

Translated, entrepreneur don’t make the mistake of being a one legged stool owner! You can’t just try and compete on price alone, or sooner or later you’re gonna have a leg sawed off!
