Marketing Strategies: Why Sometimes Doing What's Simple Is Just Way Too Obvious!Part Two

Marketing Strategies: Why Sometimes Doing What’s Simple Is Just Way Too Obvious!Part Two

As you previously discovered in part one of this series about using pretty obvious marketing strategies, to systematically grow your business, (and or service) there’s simply no need to over complicate this process.

You and I need more first time and (hopefully) repeat customers and clients, right? And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with you and I strategically  figuring out “how” to do it for less money!

That’s smart business, and the correct way to use leverage. And it’s the effective use of leverage that allows you and I to scale our businesses. For ex; take your video marketing strategies (no matter) how good or bad you think it’s going. Entrepreneur, do you realize and appreciate that every (single time) one of your “how to” instructional/lead generating videos are viewed, (provided) you’ve got them constructed with appropriate (CTA’s) calls to action(s) etc.

While you and I are off tending to other parts of our businesses and or personal lives etc. Those videos and or your (hopefully) keyword researched WordPress blog posts are working for you/us 24/7!

Make Sure You’re Not Ignoring The Really Obvious Marketing Strategies!

(Because They Can And Will Make You More Money!)

Think about the incredible time leverage for just a second. If just ten people a day watch twenty five of your videos, in 30 days that’s a grand total of 7,500 total views! (10 x 25 x 30 days = 7,500 total views.)

Ladies & Gentlemen, there is simply no way humanly possible for you & I to physically see that many people in a month! And effectively deal with all that rejection, and do some business!

Now then; (with that as our back drop), and picking up where part one left off. Let’s suppose your popular local Mom & Pop sub sandwich shop wants to take your $.99 cents big gulp marketing  strategy to next level. Be sure you refer to part one of this series, about using proven (marketing strategies) to get a solid grasp of this proven marketing strategy.

Here are two more potentially profitable extensions of the strategy discussed in part one. And rather than rehash it here, (please be sure) and refer to part one of this series, so that you have a solid grasp of this incredibly powerful, low cost repeat customer generating strategy!

1.) Repeat customer generating  extension strategy # one: Take your your smart $.99 cents big gulp marketing concept to the next level. Give all of your employees the chance to win some really cool prizes, by creating an in house contest!

Let them pass out special VIP $.99 cent big gulp coupons, and whoever has the most redeemed in the next 90 days, they will some really cool (meaningful) cash prizes! offer first, second and third place prizes!

Just be sure you have your employees/associates (either) assign certain ID numbers and or use their initials on the back of the coupon. And whoever gets the most coupons redeemed, they win 1st prize! Really reward them and make it a big deal! So you send a message to all of your other employee/associates!

2.)  Repeat customer generating  extension strategy # two: Go around (meaning) allow your associates (if you don’t personally have the time) to contact several local organizations (and) some of the popular HS & college coaches, and let them start systematically passing out your $.99 cent big gulp coupons to their students and colleagues!

Without a doubt, with just a little strategic tweaking (testing) this incredibly powerful, low cost tactic, can and will definitely increase your income! Don’t you agree? My friend, that’s why you’ve simply got to make these high powered marketing strategies should become a part of your current marketing. Wouldn’t you say?

Please list at least two simple spin off concepts (in the comments section below) that you can apply to your business, product or service in the next 30 days or less!

  1. Very cool ideas for promoting “while you sleep” so to speak.

It’s called leverage, and in order to build your business, you’ve got to do it.

You make a great case for video marketing here, Mark, and you should know. It’s certainly something you do really well. Keep the cameras rollin’ on…

  2. Hey Mark,

You are definitely right about how powerful videos can be but that goes for our content in any form as well.

I did read part one and although I don’t have an offline business I can see your point exactly and why that would really work. I’m sure that’s at least doing things your competition isn’t doing and it’s a great way to drum up new business.

You are a very smart man Mark! 😉
