So How Does Laser Focus Help You But Tunnel Vision Cost Really Big Money?Part Four

Entrepreneur, surely by the fourth installment of this ongoing series, about how single minded marketing tunnel visioncan and in most cases, is extremely harmful to your long term profit making potential.

You are hopefully starting to appreciate, how marketing blindness prevents you from seeing several extremely viable marketing alternatives.

And because you’re not fully aware these marketing possibilities even exist to begin with, both you and your potential prospects, customers and or clients, miss out big time! Don’t you agree?

And as a net result, you often end up (in far too many cases), spending way more upfront money and draining other extremely valuable resources,  than you really have (or need) to!Plus, you’re not coming anywhere close to maximizing your full range of both short and long term profit earning potential!

Simply because, for the most part all you can see is the trees, but not the entire forest of overall marketing possibilities! And entrepreneur, that has simply got to stop!

So How Come Single Minded Marketing Tunnel Vision Is So Potentially Expensive?

So quickly picking up on the overall theme from part three. Conceptually speaking, ( far too many) otherwise extremely savvy entrepreneurs, while they tend to be able too see that 9 + 1 = 10.

However, where they seem to often go off the rails is, (for whatever reasons) even after you painstakingly point it out to them!They just can’t seem to wrap their head around the fact that, conceptually speaking so is 8+ 2, or 7 + 3!

But here’s the really sad part and why and “how” single minded marketing tunnel vision is potentially harmful to their long term profit potential!

They don’t seem to grasp the fact that 14-4 equals ten also!

So in other words, while those first three prior examples were using different combinations of numbers to arrive at ten. They were all only using addition!Entrepreneur, you’ve got virtually unlimited access to subtraction, division and multiplication, to arrive (mathematically) at the exact same numerical place! )

And again, that’s only using standard (basic) arithmetic! We haven’t even gotten to the so  called fancy stuff yet!Because that’s (potentially) where things could really get very interesting, extremely fast!

So with that as a back drop. Let’s now return to our hypothetical marketing example, involving a local bingo parlor owner and an extremely savvy retail appliance dealer.

It’s Definitely Worth The Effort To Rid Yourself Of Single Minded Marketing Tunnel Vision Asap! (Don’t You Agree?)

Because it’s potentially costing you a fortune in the long run!Would you not agree? Now then, once again we’ll return to our weekly Bingo game. And now that the savvy appliance dealer (and or extremely savvy) retail company X, (because remember ladies & gentlemen) the extremely savvy retailer, might be a local jeweler instead of a local appliance dealer!

The marketing savvy appliance dealer is the one actually funding all of these newly introduced incentives to the weekly Bingo players, just using the bingo parlor owners to do it! )

Now as we previously mentioned in part three. Each week, just before they shut off the lights and send every body home, the bingo parlor owners quickly direct every bodies attention to the front of the room, for the last major announcements of the night!

And for the last two weeks, every body in attendance now knows and definitely understands what’s about to be shared and they totally can’t wait to hear the winning news!

First, whoever had brought the most guests/referrals 18 & over for the night! They automatically received one $20 dollar gas card for each referral! Plus, on top of that,they also automatically won two additional $50 dollar gift coupons!

One is a $50 dollar gas card and the other is a $50 dollar gift certificate from one of the most popular local Supermarkets!Now let’s add even more fuel to the (already) spreading like wildfire, positive word of mouth and mouse battle of the flying lips campaign that’s definitely underway! )

The bingo owners now proudly announce two more extremely exciting additional incentives! First, any person,between now and the eight week deadline, when they finally announce the ultimate grand prize winners of the appliance dealers free drawing! (Which will be announced just eight short weeks from the original day they announced it!)

Entrepreneur You Don’t Really Wanna Keep Going Down This Road Of Single Minded Marketing Tunnel Vision Do You?

But that’s getting just a tad bit ahead of our story! 😎 Anyway, the bingo parlor owners also announce, any person that happens to win the weekly guest/referral contest more than once! Guess what? They automatically win double the prize!Huh?

In other words, they still get their $20 dollars per guest gas card coupon(s). But where they really make out is, because it’s their second time finishing first, instead of $100 dollars total in gift certificates. They automatically get double or $200 dollars in total gift card coupon value!

So they get $100 dollars worth of gas cards & $100 dollars worth of grocery store coupons!(Or X!) And if they happen to be first for the third or (even) fourth time, then they automatically win triple or four times the value!!

What does the savvy appliance dealer really care, since their ideal long term customers, have a total lifetime customer value of anywhere from $4,800 to $14,900 dollars!Over a seven to nine year period!So you know they’re up to invest anywhere from a low of $20 dollar to a high of six or seven hundred dollars to generate a brand new firs time customer, right?

Being An Entrepreneur Is A Whole Lot Less Expensive Than Single Minded Marketing Tunnel Vision! (What Say You?)

Because remember, it’s not the actual dollar amounts here that are what’s truly important!

It’s whether or not, you’re following and totally comprehending the overall main marketing concepts, strategies and “battlefield tested” tactics etc!

Entrepreneur, do you think those rather subtle (strictly) performance based incentives,will cause those in the audience to yap it up like crazy to their immediate friends, family, co-workers and or employees, if they too happen to own their business!

Because maybe they own one of the most popular local barbershops, hair and or nail salons etc!Hello! Anyway, they will also announce that at next weeks game, there is going to be a very special opportunity, and the only ones that will be legally eligible to participate, will be those that bring at least one guest 18 & over! Absolutely no exceptions!

(In other words, that’s their not so subtle way of saying bring a guest already!  )

And in order to participate, you will need at least $100 dollars in cash or bring a valid credit card, with at least that much of available credit on it!And it’s really big! And that’s all they’ll say! )

You can bet the vast majority of the faithful will drag someone 18 & over with them to next week’s game! ) And they’ll be darn sure they (either) have $100 dollars in cash or at least that much available on their credit card(s!)
