Meaning: you don’t jump in and go hog wild, until you get that all important nod of approval, from your number one critic! That being your customer/clients! Q.) What do 98% of all Mom & Pop local pizza owners do with the remaining pieces of pizza they have about one hour to thirty minutes before they close?
You got it! If the staff doesn’t want it, they throw it out! Hey, what are you gonna do with pizza slices that have been sitting out for the last 30 to 60 minutes!
Here’s a strategy you can inexpensively test. In this age of mobile marketing mania! Initially (inexpensively) test this strategy with your regular HS and college student customer base.
Place a really big sign somewhere near your counter or on one of the closet walls near your counter. Instruct them to text this number and a get a special coupon that entitles them come in on your slowest nights about two hours before you close and they get 50% off whatever they buy!Say what?
Don’t Ever Miss A Golden opportunity To Inexpensively Create Some Much Needed Positive Word Of Mouth Social Media Buzz!
You read that correct! You’re inexpensively going for the positive word of mouth (local) social media marketing buzz!
But here’s where you crank things up. Every night, but especially on your traditional slowest nights. About one hour before you close, you text your mobile list and offer them anything they want to purchase at your actual cost!
Provided they bring at least one new person at least 18 years old, that’s not a current customer! And they give your Facebook page a thumbs up! Think about it! You just have your lap top open on your FB page and they get can buy whatever at cost!
If they come alone, then they get it at 50% off! In other words, be sure you cover your actual hard cost!
Who cares “what” you actually sell anything to them for, provided you cover your real hard cost! Just be sure that you give your new first time visitor/potential first time customer, that accompanies your current customer. Give them an extremely limited time “bounce back” offer!
Inexpensively test and tweak this proven tactic, and you’ll stop asking the burning question, which is; how to increase sales?
